十二日十三日両日之所ハ御門内之御普請御差止メ被下候様御願

十三日両日ハ右申上候通之古法ニ御座候故不得止事御願申上候

一 四月十一日の御禊御神事につき、御門内の御普請を差し止めていただくよう、御普請会所へ願書を差し出した。その控えは以下の通り。
奉願口状
権殿御普請の件について、四月十一日は御禊御神事であり、十一日夜から中門・唐門ともに扉を閉じ、几帳を下ろし、御門内は人の往来をしない社法となっております。そのため十二日・十三日両日については、御門内の御普請を差し止めていただくようお願い申し上げたく存じますが、急ぎの御普請でございますので、お願い申し上げることができません。十二日・十三日両日は右に申し上げました通りの古法でございますので、やむを得ず事情をお願い申し上げます。何卒お聞き届けくださいますよう、重ねてお願い申し上げます。以上

一 明日朔日、貴船社奥立の棟上げ、上棟宣旨使参向につき、陰陽・別当・所司・目代並びに刀禰・神人へ案内を申し入れた。祠官へは昨二十八日、廻文をもって、来る四月朔日貴船奥立柱上棟宣旨使が申刻に参向し、並びに四月五日丑刻に奥社付け引き、同日立柱につき、随意参向があるべき旨を申し触れた。ただし先格の通り。
神主から廻文があった。
一 二の鳥居御造替につき、注連留の壺五つを下の貫に打った。もっとも右については御普請方から御構いがないため、一社から刀禰へ申し付けたところ、注連張りの件で手伝方・日傭方に相談し、刀禰の指図で張った。右の壺は手伝方が足代を借用し、当所の大工が打った。もっとも注連は刀禰が張るべきことであるが、塗り立てで自然にくっつくようでは、御検分がない以前はいかがかということで、日傭方へお願いしたとのこと。ただし定例の注連帳につき、惣奉行中が出頭して下知があったとのこと。

一 今日申刻、貴船奥社立柱上棟、宣旨使参向につき御更祭。神供は卯上刻に発遣し、神主以下諸役人が参向した。

Concerning the construction of the temporary hall: April 11th is the day of the Misogi purification ceremony, and from the night of the 11th, both the middle gate and Chinese-style gate will have their doors closed and curtains lowered, and it is shrine law that no one passes through the shrine gates. Therefore, we would like to request suspension of construction within the shrine gates on the 12th and 13th. However, since this is urgent construction work, we cannot make this request. The 12th and 13th are governed by the ancient law as stated above, so we unavoidably make this request. We earnestly request your approval. The above.

1. Tomorrow, the first day, regarding the ridge-raising ceremony for the inner building of Kibune Shrine and the visit of the imperial messenger for the ridge-raising, notifications were sent to the Yin-Yang diviner, superintendent, administrator, deputy, shrine attendants, and shrine servants. To the shrine officials, a circular was sent yesterday on the 28th stating that on the coming 1st of April, the imperial messenger for the Kibune inner building pillar and ridge-raising will visit at the hour of the Monkey, and on April 5th at the hour of the Ox, there will be the attachment and pulling of the inner shrine, with pillar-raising on the same day, and voluntary participation is welcome, following precedent.
There was a circular from the head priest.
1. For the reconstruction of the second torii gate, five rope-tying pots were attached to the lower crossbeam. Since the Construction Office had no objection to this, when the shrine community instructed the shrine attendants, regarding the matter of hanging the sacred ropes, they consulted with the helpers and day laborers, and hung them under the guidance of the shrine attendants. The pots were installed by local carpenters using scaffolding borrowed by the helpers. Although the sacred ropes should be hung by the shrine attendants, since the fresh paint might stick naturally, day laborers were asked to handle it before the inspection. However, regarding the regular rope ledger, the chief magistrates appeared and gave instructions.
