- In Shōtoku 3 (1713), he served as a foot soldier with a stipend of 4 ryō and provisions for two people
with "hereditary retainer" noted alongside
- On the 13th day of the 9th month of Kyōhō 1 (1716), Year of the Monkey, he received an increase of 2 bu and was appointed to provisions management
- On the 18th day of the 9th month of the same year, he became foot soldier inspector with an increase of 2 bu, at this time called Chūzaemon
- On the 15th day of the 4th month of Kyōhō 4 (1719), Year of the Boar, he was appointed to escort duty with 1 ryō 2 bu travel allowance and placed under personal staff supervision
- On the 21st day of the 12th month of Kyōhō 7 (1722), Year of the Tiger, he was appointed head of servants
- On the 22nd day of the 3rd month of Kyōhō 9 (1724), Year of the Dragon, he petitioned to change his name from Jirōzaemon to Tokubei, and on the 27th of the same month the petition was approved and he changed to Jirōzaemon, having previously been called Chūzaemon
- On the 15th day of the 2nd month of Kyōhō 10 (1725), Year of the Snake, as petitioned he was relieved of his official duties and assigned to regular service attending Lady Shinshōin
- On the 4th day of the 4th month of the same year, as petitioned he was granted permission to take back his wife at his discretion
- On the 4th day of the 10th month of the same year, he filed notice of divorce from his wife
- On the 1st day of the 2nd month of Kyōhō 11 (1726), Year of the Horse, due to illness he was relieved of his position as head of servants as petitioned
- On the 15th day of the same month of the same year, he was ordered to serve at the lower mansion in exchange with Arakawa Zenroku

- On the 9th day of the 6th month of Genbun 1 (1736), Year of the Dragon, he was granted foot soldier status and ordered to return to secular life, appointed as assistant clerk to the senior counselor and administrator, messenger for account books, and other duties regardless of their nature, assigned to auxiliary service with 4 ryō and provisions for two people
