仰せ付けられたため、家督として高十八俵二人扶持を下され、
御供方御徒士はただ今までの通りとなった。
一 同年十二月九日、思し召しにより御宛行を
召し放たれ、永の御暇を下され、奉公は御構い、三御屋敷
御在所近辺を徘徊してはならない。
一 文化十一年甲戌年、御尋ねがあったが、確かなことは分からない旨を
四月二十八日に大目付より申し達した。

- On the 25th day of the 12th month of Meiwa 8 (1771), Year of the Rabbit, he was appointed to the ceremonial position of middle page (gochūkoshō) with an increase of 3 hyō and provisions for one person, bringing his total to 28 hyō with provisions for three people.
- On the 10th day of the 12th month of Meiwa 9 (1772), Year of the Dragon, he was appointed as the year's ceremonial leader and granted hemp ceremonial dress.
- On the 23rd day of the 6th month of An'ei 3 (1774), Year of the Horse,
he was appointed as attendant to the lord's children with an increase of 2 hyō for a total of 30 hyō with provisions for three people, was relieved of his position as head of servants, and assigned to the lower mansion's domestic affairs.
- On the 10th day of the 2nd month of An'ei 5 (1776), Year of the Monkey, due to illness,
he was relieved of his position as attendant to the lord's children as requested and appointed to the guard rotation.
- On the last day of the 5th month of An'ei 10 (1781), Year of the Ox, he was appointed to serve at the lower mansion's palace quarters.
- On the 8th day of the 7th month of Tenmei 3 (1783), Year of the Rabbit,
by the lord's judgment, he was ordered to retire.

- On the 14th day of the 3rd month of Meiwa 7 (1770), Year of the Tiger, he was appointed to messenger duty and granted provisions for one person.
- On the 25th day of the 12th month of Meiwa 8 (1771), Year of the Rabbit, he was appointed as apprentice assistant clerk to the senior counselor and elder's secretariat, with instructions to also report to messenger duty if there were any conflicts.
- On the last day of the 12th month of the same year, he changed his name to Shigehachi, having previously been called Kinji.
- On the 23rd day of the 12th month of An'ei 1 (1772), Year of the Dragon, he was promoted to foot soldier with duties continuing as before and a stipend of 16 hyō with provisions for two people.
- On the 3rd day of the 5th month of An'ei 5 (1776), Year of the Monkey, he was appointed as escort foot soldier, relieved of secretarial duties, and placed under the supervision of the foot soldier commander.
- On the 12th day of the 12th month of An'ei 6 (1777), Year of the Rooster, he changed his name to Kosaburō, having previously been called Shigehachi.
- On the 20th day of the 7th month of Tenmei 3 (1783), Year of the Rabbit, when his father Jūgorōemon was ordered to retire, he inherited the family headship with a stipend of 18 hyō and provisions for two people, continuing as escort foot soldier as before.
- On the 9th day of the 12th month of the same year, by the lord's judgment, his stipend was revoked and he was granted permanent leave from service, with prohibition from seeking employment and from loitering near the three mansions or the lord's domain.
- In Bunka 11 (1814), Year of the Dog, when inquiries were made, it was reported on the 28th day of the 4th month by the chief inspector that his whereabouts could not be determined with certainty.
