御怠被遊候間当十月為勤番丈右衛門
為差登候様被 仰出候旨被 仰渡候

一 同年九月江戸為勤番罷登候
但伊与田又左衛門三春二歳駒御調
儀御用被 仰付罷越候ニ付定和之通
十月交代いたし候而者間ニ合不申候
ニ付九月中罷登候事
一 同年十月北表御長屋中村帯刀方ゟ
致出火候節精出相働候段被
仰出候事
一 同年十二月此度不時ニ御馬御献上
之儀ニ付彼是出精心労いたし
且当春御馬術極差上候ニ付御紋
之御小袖壱ツ被下置之旨被 仰出

御前え被 召出奉蒙 御意候事

御怠けなされる間、当十月勤番として丈右衛門を差し登らせるよう仰せ出された旨を仰せ渡された事
一 同年九月、江戸へ勤番として罷り登った
但し、伊与田又左衛門が三春の二歳駒御調べの儀を御用として仰せ付けられ罷り越したにつき、定例の通り十月交代では間に合わないため、九月中に罷り登った事
一 同年十月、北表御長屋中村帯刀方より出火した節、精出して相働いた段を仰せ出された事
一 同年十二月、この度不時の御馬御献上の儀につき、あれこれ出精心労し、かつ当春御馬術極差し上げたにつき、御紋の御小袖一つを下賜される旨を仰せ出され、即日御前へ召し出され御意を蒙った事
一 同二酉年三月二十日の夜、会津表で出火し大火に及び、居宅類焼した段をお聞き召され、折節の勤番にて別して

As [the lord] was taking a rest, it was ordered that Jōemon should go up [to Edo] for duty service in the current tenth month, and this was conveyed.
• In the ninth month of the same year, he went up to Edo for duty service.
However, since Iyoda Matazaemon was ordered to go investigate two-year-old horses in Miharu as official business, the regular October rotation would not be in time, so he went up in the ninth month.
• In the tenth month of the same year, when a fire broke out from Nakamura Taitō's quarters in the northern official residences, it was announced that he worked diligently [in firefighting].
• In the twelfth month of the same year, regarding the unexpected presentation of horses [to the shogun], for his various efforts and concerns, and also for presenting his horsemanship skills in the spring, he was granted one formal kosode with the [lord's] crest, and on the same day was summoned before [the lord] and received his gracious words.
• On the night of the twentieth day of the third month of the second year of Tori (Rooster), when a fire broke out in Aizu and became a great conflagration, burning down residences, [the lord] heard of this, and since [Jōemon] was on duty service at that time, he was especially...
