• In the sixth month of the sixth year (Year of the Ox), he was appointed to night duty at the castle stables and served accordingly.
• In the seventh month of the same year, it was announced that he had worked diligently on ordinary days and served particularly well.
• In the tenth month of the same year, he traveled to Miharu on official business for horse procurement and served there.
• In the twelfth month of the same year, having worked diligently at horsemanship and horse training, and also having served night duty at the castle stables, performing his daily duties without delay, he was granted a stipend of five persons' worth and was ordered to continue practicing horsemanship with even greater dedication.
• From the second month of the seventh year (Year of the Tiger), he was ordered to continue serving night duty at the castle stables.
• In the third month of the same year, he was granted regular ceremonial dress and was summoned to serve as a page.
• In the same month, for his diligent service while the lord was in the domain, he was granted two bundles of cotton as a reward.
