宜相勤私義も馬術精出宜仕先達
而御小性をも相勤候者之儀ニ候間旁を
以外様組付被 仰付只今迄之通御
厩へ罷出猶以馬術相励候様被
仰出只今迄之御扶持方ハ被 召上候
但生駒内蔵助組ニ入候事
一 同月只今迄之通御厩へ罷出
御召形之節御馬場えも罷出相勤候
ニ付御廣間御番幷勤番諸役共ニ御
免被成之旨被 仰出候事
一 同年六月御厩別当被 仰付候
但只今迄之通外様組付ニ而相勤候
様ニとの儀ニ候旨頭生駒内蔵助申

一 同年十二月親丈右衛門差上可申筈
之御許御印可極意之馬書共仕立
差上申度旨先達而奥番を以申上候

よく相勤め、私も馬術に精出してよく仕上げ、先達
て御小性をも相勤めた者の儀につき、両方を
もって外様組付を仰せ付けられ、只今までの通り御
厩へ罷出で、なお以って馬術に相励むよう
仰せ出され、只今までの御扶持方は召し上げられた
ただし生駒内蔵助組に入った事
一 同月、只今までの通り御厩へ罷出で
御召し物の節は御馬場へも罷出で相勤めた
につき、御広間御番並びに勤番諸役ともに御
免成される旨を仰せ出された事
一 同年六月、御厩別当を仰せ付けられた
ただし只今までの通り外様組付にて相勤める
様にとの儀につき、頭の生駒内蔵助が申し
聞いた事
一 同年十二月、親の丈右衛門が差し上げ申すべき筈
の御許しを得た御印可極意の馬書ともに仕立て
差し上げ申したい旨、先達て奥番を以って申し上げた
ところ、伺いの通り認めて差し上げるよう仰せ出された事
一 同年閏十二月、木俣富之進の上屋敷を
下し置かれた事

served well, and I also worked diligently at horsemanship with good results. Since I had previously served as a page, based on both qualifications, I was appointed to the tozama-gumi unit. I was ordered to continue going to the stables as before and to work even harder at horsemanship. The stipend I had received until now was withdrawn.
However, I was assigned to Ikoma Kuranosuke's unit.
• In the same month, because I continued to go to the stables as before and also served at the riding grounds during formal dress occasions, I was announced to be exempted from guard duty in the audience hall and various rotation duties.
• In the sixth month of the same year, I was appointed as stable superintendent.
However, regarding continuing to serve as part of the tozama-gumi unit as before, the unit head Ikoma Kuranosuke conveyed this matter.
• In the twelfth month of the same year, regarding the officially approved secret horsemanship treatises that my father Jōemon was supposed to submit, when I previously requested through the inner guard to prepare and submit them, I was ordered to write and submit them as requested.
• In the intercalary twelfth month of the same year, I was granted Kimata Tominoshin's upper mansion.
