差図いたした由につき御酒を下し置かれた事
一 同六（寅）年、米沢より参り居る修験の儀
につき御向合いこれあり、右吟味取り計らうにつき
上杉弾正大弼様より綿三把を下し置かれた
事
一 同年《割書：月｜不詳》役所計りの御用向共掛かりに
いたし相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた事
一 同年十二月、貸金方佐藤平蔵掛かり
仰せ付けられたので、右平蔵へ加わり相勤め
るよう仰せ付けられた事
一 同七（卯）年五月、精出し相勤め掛かりの御用
何れも大振りな儀ともであるところ、細々心を
付け宜しく取り計らい、かつ去々暮より一人にて
相勤め別して勤労いたしたにつき格別
の訳を以て常上下格を成し下し置かれる旨

御同人様より金弐百疋を下し置かれた

• In the same sixth (Tiger) year, regarding the matter of a mountain ascetic (shugenja) who had come from Yonezawa, there was an official meeting, and because he handled the investigation and arrangements for this matter, he was given three bundles of cotton by Lord Uesugi Danjō-daihitsu.
• In the same year (month unknown according to marginal note), he was ordered to take charge of and serve in various administrative matters pertaining to the office.
• In the twelfth month of the same year, because Satō Heizō was put in charge of lending affairs, he was ordered to join and serve under the said Heizō.
• In the fifth month of the same seventh (Rabbit) year, although he diligently served and handled official duties that were all major matters, he paid careful attention to details and managed them well. Moreover, since the year before last's end, he had been serving alone and worked with particular diligence. For this exceptional service, he was granted a special rank advancement and was awarded formal court dress of higher grade.
• In the sixth month of the same year, when Lord Naitō Bunzen-no-kami passed through this town, he attended at the lodging residence, and His Lordship granted him 200 mon in gold.
