一文化十一戌年十二月学問出精年齢よより
　手際宜相聞候に付為御褒美孝経大
　義四書集注小学被下置候事
一同十二亥年三月　御城中塵芥之
　類夥敷有之　御入部以前取片付寸
　志卑賎之業支度段被　任願候事
一同年八月
　欽文様御相手被　仰付右に付為費
　補年々金五両ツヽ無御借上被下置候
　　但右勤中　御手自品々拝領
　　物共被　仰付御出先へも御供仕
　　毎度御酒被下置候事
一同十三子年正月去年中　御入部
　御設に付　御城内掃除之節諸芸
　之透し罷出卑賎之業をもいたし候
　段奇特成義に被　思召之旨被
　仰出候事

現代語訳

一、文化十一戌年十二月、学問に出精し、年齢より手際が宜しいと聞こえたため、御褒美として『孝経大義』『四書集注』『小学』を下し置かれた事

一、同十二亥年三月、御城中に塵芥の類が夥しく有り、御入部以前に取り片付ける意志で、卑賎の業も支度する段を御任せ願った事

一、同年八月、欽文様の御相手を仰せ付けられ、右に付き費用補助として年々金五両ずつ無利息で御貸し下しを置かれた
　但し右勤務中、御手ずから品々拝領物を仰せ付けられ、御出先へも御供し、毎度御酒を下し置かれた事

一、同十三子年正月、去年中の御入部御設営に付き、御城内掃除の節に諸芸の合間に罷り出て卑賎の業をも致した段は奇特な義と思し召される旨を仰せ出された事

一、同十四丑年六月、親の願いの通り初めての御目見を仰せ付けられた事

一、同十五寅年二月、書学に出精し年齢より

1. In the 12th month of Bunka 11, Year of the Dog, he excelled in his studies and was noted for his skills being superior to his age, so as a reward he was granted the books "Kōkyō Taigi" (Great Meanings of the Classic of Filial Piety), "Shisho Shūchū" (Collected Commentaries on the Four Books), and "Shōgaku" (Elementary Learning).

1. In the 3rd month of the same 12th year, Year of the Boar, there was an enormous amount of debris and refuse in the castle, and he requested to be entrusted with cleaning it up before the lord's arrival, willing to undertake even menial tasks.

1. In the 8th month of the same year, he was appointed as a companion to Lord Kinbun, and for this service he was granted an annual stipend of 5 ryō of gold without interest as expense support.
Note: During this service, he received various gifts directly from the lord's hand, accompanied the lord on outings, and was frequently granted sake.

1. In the 1st month of the same 13th year, Year of the Rat, regarding the previous year's preparations for the lord's arrival, when cleaning the castle interior, he came out during breaks from his various arts training to perform even menial work, which was considered an admirable act and was officially commended.

1. In the 6th month of the same 14th year, Year of the Ox, as requested by his father, he was granted his first formal audience with the lord.
