一 元文五《割書：申｜》年二月馬術宜仕候ニ付拾人扶持被下
置被 召出席小番之上上崎甚左衛門次ニ被
仰付御厩別当之勤見習候様尤於御厩御馬
乗責等仕候様被仰出候事
一 同年三月御馬御預被遊候由被 仰出候事
一 同年四月御馬頭支配被 仰付候事
一 同年六月馬術為修行同姓半左衛門宅ニ自
分馬建置持立手入等をも致度候処自
刀ニ難及候ニ付馬扶持被下置度由御厩
別当願申上候処被達 御聴別段ニ馬
扶持被下置候旨被 仰出候事
一 寛保元《割書：酉｜》年正月親拝領仕候御紋之御
召物為冥加着用仕度旨被任願候事
一 同年二月御厩別当被 仰付五人
扶持御役料被下置之旨被 仰出候
但右ニ付御厩之内別当役屋敷へ引

筒井益右衛門久豊の娘《割書：明和8年卯年9月5日病死 法名■■院 実仙相智大姉 葬所同上》
一 元文5年申年2月 馬術がよくできるので10人扶持を下され、
召し出されて席は小番の上、上崎甚左衛門の次に
仰せ付けられ、御厩別当の勤めを見習うよう、もっとも御厩において御馬の
乗り慣らし等を行うよう仰せ出されたこと
一 同年3月 御馬をお預けになる旨仰せ出されたこと
一 同年4月 御馬頭支配を仰せ付けられたこと
一 同年6月 馬術修行のため同姓半左衛門宅に自分の
馬を建て置き、持ち立てや手入れ等もしたいところ、自分では
力及ばないので、馬扶持を下し置いていただきたい旨、御厩
別当が願い申し上げたところ、御聴に達し、別段に馬
扶持を下し置く旨仰せ出されたこと
一 寛保元年酉年正月 親が拝領した御紋の御
召物を冥加として着用したい旨、願いの通り許可されたこと
一 同年2月 御厩別当を仰せ付けられ、5人
扶持の御役料を下し置く旨仰せ出された

1. 2nd month of Genbun 5, year of the monkey (1740): Due to his excellent horsemanship, he was granted a stipend of 10 nin-fuchi (rice rations for 10 people),
summoned to service with a seat above koban (minor guard) rank, positioned next to Uesaki Jinzaemon,
appointed to apprentice in the duties of御厩別当 (stable magistrate), and specifically ordered to break in and train the lord's horses at the stables.
2. 3rd month of the same year: It was announced that he would be entrusted with the care of the lord's horses.
3. 4th month of the same year: He was appointed to serve under the supervision of the horse magistrate (umanosuke).
4. 6th month of the same year: For horsemanship training, he wished to stable his own horse at the residence of Hanzaemon of the same surname and provide its care and maintenance, but finding this beyond his personal means, the stable magistrate petitioned that horse maintenance stipend be granted. This reached the lord's ears, and it was decreed that special horse maintenance stipend would be provided.
5. 1st month of Kanpō 1, year of the rooster (1741): His request to wear ceremonial garments bearing the family crest that his father had received was granted as a mark of divine favor.
6. 2nd month of the same year: He was appointed as stable magistrate and granted a service stipend of 5 nin-fuchi.
Note: In connection with this appointment, he moved to the stable magistrate's official residence within the stable compound.
