Same year, tenth month: As he had been granted leave for academic training and had gone up to Edo, he was currently appointed as reading companion for Lord Ryōtokuin's books as well as to serve at the academy's calligraphy dormitory. Due to special circumstances, his stipend was increased by two persons, making a total of seven persons' stipend.
