やかにちくら【筑羅】が沖（おき）え送（おく）り給へ。
さらばおのれも御幣（ごへい）を振立（ふりたて）。
鐘（かね）と太鼓（たいこ）をうちならして。
おくれ〳〵とちからを合せ奉る
べし。 撫（なで）つさすりつ看病人（かんべうにん）の。
丹精（たんせい）を抽（ぬきんで）て告（つけ）奉る微志（びし）を
それ見そなはし給（たま）へ。

災いを下して、官民に苦しみをおかけになるのか。願わくば天の神と地の神よ、哀れみの眼差しをお向けください。本当に麻疹は神ではありません。速やかに筑紫の沖へお送りください。そうすれば私も御幣を振り立て、鐘と太鼓を打ち鳴らして、遅れをとらじと力を合わせて祈り奉るでしょう。撫でさすって看病する人の真心を込めて申し上げるささやかな志を、どうぞご覧になってください。
