様物（だしもの）。 一（いち）ばん中（あた）つた物（もの）あれば。 贋（にせ）の出（で）る事 速（すみやか）
なり。 時花東西（はやりもの）には喬人（にせて）が多（おほ）く。この衙衕（まち）
にも七種茗漬（なゝいろちやづけ）。かしこの十字街（つじ）にも福徳（ふくとく）
煎餅（せんべい）。 煮（に）たり炙（やひ）たり虚擬（おつかぶせ）。 仮物（にせ）が正舗（ほんけ）
歟。 本家（ほんけ）が偽物（にせ）歟。 汝（われ）が予（おれ）歟。 不侫（おれ）が足下（われ）
やら吾勝（われがち）に。 利（り）を射（ゐ）る們（やから）の多（おほ）き世にも。
流行（はやつ）て喬的（にせて）のなきものは。 這般（このたび）の麻（はし）

さまざまに移り変わるのもまた浮世である。そういうわけで江戸の盛り場、繁華な土地の新商品で、一番当たった物があれば、偽物が出ることは早い。流行物には偽物が多く、この町にも七色茶漬け、あそこの十字路にも福徳煎餅。煮たり焼いたりして真似をし、偽物が本店か、本家が偽物か、あなたが私か、私があなたやら、我こそがと利益を狙う連中の多い世の中でも、流行しても偽物のないものは、今回の麻疹である。職人はもとよりおらず、あったところで偽物を作ってもつまらない。やむなく匙を投げれば、また拾う者があって、医者の真似をする素人療治は、薬の包み紙の上書きにも「煎じ方は普通通り」と、中国風で脅かして、呉服屋の売上げ
