御城江可罷出旨御老中御用番土井
大炊頭守様ゟ御達在之候處完平在兵津
ニ付為名代被差出之旨被 仰付御聞番
案内ニ而 御城江罷り出候所於 撫之
間大炊頭様御出座此度会津風土記
編集之義骨折候段御直々被 仰渡
銀子拾枚御附臺ニ而被下置御奏者番
堀田豊前守様御取合御礼申上御聞番同道
ニ而両御丸御老中様御若年寄様方江為
御礼罷出其外堀田豊前守様幷地志御
懸りニ付林大学頭様へも罷出候
但右ニ付為費補金弐両被下置候事
一 同年十二月御内用ニ付御使等ニも罷出
労費も在之由ニ付為費補金五百疋被

一 同七午年二月相州浦賀辺幷房総浦ニ
大筒御台場御備方御引受被成蒙
仰候ニ付右一件御用向取調之儀懸り等

現代語訳
御城へ罷り出るべき旨、御老中御用番土井大炊頭守様より御達しがあったところ、完平は会津にいるため、名代として差し出される旨を仰せ付けられ、御聞番の案内で御城へ罷り出たところ、撫之間において大炊頭様が御出座され、この度会津風土記編集の義について骨折りした段を御直々に仰せ渡され、銀子十枚を御附台にて下し置かれ、御奏者番堀田豊前守様の御取り合いで御礼を申し上げ、御聞番同道にて両御丸の御老中様・御若年寄様方へ御礼のため罷り出、その外堀田豊前守様並びに地志御掛かりにつき林大学頭様へも罷り出た
但し右につき費用補助として金二両を下し置かれた事
一 同年十二月、御内用につき御使等にも罷り出、労費もあった由につき、費用補助として金五百疋を下し置かれた事
一 同七午年（文化7年・1810年）二月、相州浦賀辺並びに房総浦に大筒御台場御備方御引受けを仰せ蒙ったにつき、右一件の御用向取調べの儀、掛かり等をいたし相勤めるよう仰せ付けられた事
一 同年五月、この度御省略の儀につき向々へ

He was to appear at the castle, as communicated by Senior Councilor and Duty Officer Doi Ōi-no-kami. Since Kanpei was in Aizu, he was ordered to be sent as his representative. Guided by the御聞番 (gokikiban), he appeared at the castle, where in the Nadeshi-no-ma chamber, Ōi-no-kami made his appearance. He was directly told that his efforts in compiling the Aizu Fudoki (topographical records) were appreciated, and was granted ten pieces of silver on an official tray. Through the mediation of Master of Court Ceremony Hotta Bizen-no-kami, he expressed his gratitude, and accompanied by the gokikiban, he went to both castle compounds to pay his respects to the Senior Councilors and Junior Councilors. Additionally, he also visited Hotta Bizen-no-kami and, regarding the topographical records project, Hayashi Daigaku-no-kami as well.
Note: For this, he was granted 2 ryō in gold as expense compensation.
One entry: In the twelfth month of the same year, he went out on errands for internal affairs, and since there were labor expenses involved, he was granted 500 mon in gold as expense compensation.
One entry: In the second month of Bunka 7, Year of the Horse (1810), he was ordered to take charge of the cannon battery coastal defense preparations in the Uraga area of Sagami Province and the Bōsō coast. He was ordered to handle the investigation and arrangements for this matter and carry out his duties accordingly.
