無之故被 仰出候儀ニ候得者風俗等も相直り御料も見習
手本ニも仕候様ニ御仕置可被 仰付旨是以兼而御領分御仕
置宜相聞候故之儀与御物語有之其節左之通御書付を以
御達有之
一 諸国御蔵所之御仕置者大切之事ニ候処不功者
成代官者手代まかせニも致置候哉御蔵所之内百
姓困窮ニ及ひ其上風俗よろしからさる儀共
有之趣ニ相聞候今度新規ニ代官可被 仰付者
別而御吟味之御事ニ候得共不足之儀ニ候条追而
相応之者被 仰付候迄ハ何も家来差遣し御
年貢収納致させ候様にとの御事ニ候
一 御仕置等之儀ニ付大法者御勘定所江可被承合
候得共其所之只今迄之致くせをハ聞合被
申間敷候畢竟下ニ而申付候儀ニハ筋あしき
儀共も有之事ニ候故件之儀相止候様ニとの
御事ニ而何茂江御預ケ被 仰付事
一 右之通ニ候間只今迄其所相勤候手代なと其
筋を存候と申立候とも一切召抱被申間敷候

いないため仰せ出されることになったが、風俗なども改まり、御料所も見習いの手本にもなるよう御仕置を仰せ付けられる旨、これも以前から御領分の御仕置が良いと聞いていたためのことと御話があり、その際左の通り書付をもって御達しがあった。
一、諸国の御蔵所の御仕置は大切なことであるところ、無能な代官は手代任せにもしているのか、御蔵所のうち百姓が困窮に及び、その上風俗がよろしくない事柄があると聞いている。今度新規に代官を仰せ付けられる者は、特に御吟味のことであるが、不足の件であるので、追って適当な者を仰せ付けられるまでは、何も家来を派遣し御年貢収納をさせるようにとのことである。
一、御仕置などの件について、大法は御勘定所へ伺い合わせるべきであるが、その所の今まで行ってきた悪習慣は聞き合わせるべきではない。結局下で申し付ける件には筋の悪い事柄もあることであるため、これらの件を止めるようにとのことで、何れにも御預けを仰せ付けられること。
一、右の通りであるので、今まで其所を勤めていた手代などがその筋を承知していると申し立てても、一切召し抱えるべきではない。

1. The administration of shogunal granary territories throughout the provinces is a matter of great importance. However, incompetent deputy administrators seem to leave everything to their assistants, and it is reported that among the granary territories, farmers have fallen into poverty, and moreover, there are improper customs. Regarding those who will be newly appointed as deputy administrators, this is a matter of particular examination, but since it is insufficient, until suitable persons are appointed later, retainers should be dispatched to collect the annual tribute.
1. Regarding matters of administration, major laws should be consulted with the Finance Office, but the bad practices that have been carried out in those places until now should not be inquired about. Ultimately, matters ordered from below include things with bad precedents, so these matters should be stopped, and custody should be entrusted to everyone.
