一　三月二十五日、御老中久世大和守重之殿より御呼び出しがあり、御留守居宮北十郎左衛門定由が罷り出た所、打物鍛冶の件について左の通り御書付を相渡された。

　　　　一　領内にある鍛冶の件について最初に連絡したことにより書付を指し出されたが、右の書付の内で良く打つと思われる鍛冶が打った刀脇指の内から一腰を指し出すべきである。

　　　　一　右の書付の内で差別し難い鍛冶が二人いる場合は、一腰ずつ両腰を出すべきである。同じであれば一人の作品一腰を差し出すように心得るべきである。

　　　　一　右は現在打物を作っている鍛冶が打ち置いた道具のことである。鍛冶の手元に在り合わせがない場合は、打ち置いたものを才覚して出すべきである。新規に打ち立てることには及ばない。以上
