一 今日誓詞の節に下役与惣左衛門は麻上下着用にて出席するように申し聞かせました。
立会人は高田六右衛門殿、読者は北原太治右衛門殿、朝五つ時過ぎに月番安蔵宅へお越しになりました。なお誓詞紙は太治右衛門殿持参にて、すなわち同役両人共に連席し、与惣左衛門家座敷の敷居際へ入り、読者が前書きを読み聞かせ、血判が済み、こちら共両人一覧が済んで御中小性目付へ差し出し、目付中一覧が済んで御役筋にて受け取りました。

One item: Today for the oath ceremony, the subordinate Yosozaemon was told to appear wearing formal hemp attire (kamishimo).
The witnesses were Takada Rokuemon-dono, the reader was Kitahara Tajiemon-dono, and they came to monthly duty officer Anzo's residence after the fifth hour in the morning. The oath paper was brought by Tajiemon-dono. Both officials of the same rank took their seats together, entered near the threshold of Yosozaemon's house parlor, the reader read the preamble aloud, the blood seal was completed, both of us reviewed it, submitted it to the middle pages and inspectors, the inspectors completed their review, and it was received by the official department.
