様御父子戸田左門様御父子細川越中守様御
父子松平甚三郎様牧野伝蔵殿其後黒田

庫頭殿有馬左衛門佐殿御父子水野日向守
殿此衆有馬村々御着被成寄口之陣場代り申候事
又曰人馬之事未追手口細川越中守殿其夜立
花飛騨守殿其次松倉長門守殿同右近殿其
次黒田右衛門佐殿同甲斐守殿同市正殿其
後之山続きに小笠原右近殿同信濃守殿其
次有馬左衛門佐殿如此に御座候事細川越中
守殿御陣所之後に松平伊豆守様其西頭に
戸田左門様其次に水野日向守殿其近所

又曰右之如く御陣場代り候以後城中敵共干殺
現代語訳
その後に再び柵(せいろう)を積み上げるような様子が見えました。去る二十七日までに敵の塀際から三、四間ほどの距離まで攻撃のための土塁(仕寄)を寄せることができました。
六日庚午
別当杢左衛門の覚書によると、正月六日、松平伊豆守様御父子、戸田左門様御父子、細川越中守様御父子、松平甚三郎様、牧野伝蔵殿、その後に黒田右衛門佐殿、同甲斐守殿、同市正殿、寺沢兵庫頭殿、有馬左衛門佐殿御父子、水野日向守殿、これらの諸将が有馬村々に到着され、攻撃口の陣場の配置替えが行われました。
また記載によると、人馬の配置について、まず追手口に細川越中守殿、その夜には立花飛騨守殿、その次に松倉長門守殿と同右近殿、その次に黒田右衛門佐殿、同甲斐守殿、同市正殿、その後の山続きに小笠原右近殿と同信濃守殿、その次に有馬左衛門佐殿がこのように配置されました。細川越中守殿の陣所の後方に松平伊豆守様、その西側に戸田左門様、その次に水野日向守殿、その近くに御目付衆の陣場が定められました。
また記載によると、右のように陣場の配置替えを行った後、城中の敵どもを兵糧攻めで

After that, it appeared that they were adding more barriers (seirou) on top. By the 27th of that month, they were able to advance the siege works (shiyose) to within three or four ken (approximately 5-7 meters) of the enemy's palisade.
6th Day, Kanoe-Uma (Day of the Metal Horse)
According to a memorandum by Betto Mokuzaemon, on the 6th day of the first month, the following lords arrived at Arima villages: Matsudaira Izu-no-kami and his son, Toda Samon and his son, Hosokawa Etchu-no-kami and his son, Matsudaira Jinzaburo, Makino Denzo, followed by Kuroda Uemon-no-suke, Kuroda Kai-no-kami, Kuroda Ichisho, Terazawa Hyobu-no-kami, Arima Saemon-no-suke and his son, and Mizuno Hyuga-no-kami. These forces took their positions and rearranged the battle formations at the attack points.
The record also states regarding the deployment of men and horses: at the main attack point (oteguchi) was Hosokawa Etchu-no-kami, followed that night by Tachibana Hida-no-kami, then Matsukura Nagato-no-kami and Matsukura Ukon, next were Kuroda Uemon-no-suke, Kuroda Kai-no-kami, and Kuroda Ichisho. Along the continuation of the mountains were Ogasawara Ukon and Ogasawara Shinano-no-kami, followed by Arima Saemon-no-suke in this arrangement. Behind Hosokawa Etchu-no-kami's camp was positioned Matsudaira Izu-no-kami, to his west was Toda Samon, next to him was Mizuno Hyuga-no-kami, and nearby the camp positions for the inspectors (ometsuke) were established.
The record further states that after rearranging the camp positions as described above, they began to starve out the enemies within the castle
