御目見の詰日助らが相勤めるべき回状を差し出したところ、詰日割当の回状が本多伯耆殿より到来した。
二十五日
一、八時半に起床
一、七時半に出宅して、御用番松平伊豆守殿へ客として参上し、帰府の御目見を仕って上意を蒙った御礼を申し上げるため、勝手向きへ参り、付き添いの者を通じて申し上げた。すぐに帰宅、六時半過ぎ。
一、今夕、松平伊豆守殿より、先だって差し出し置いた留守中の仮養子願書が使者によって返却されたので、すぐに直接回答した。
「先だって日光へお越しになった節に提出された当分の養子願書を返進いたします。以上。

Regarding the circular letter about assistant duty officers serving for the audience, after submitting it, a duty assignment circular arrived from Lord Honda Hōki.

1. Rose at 8:30 AM
1. Left residence at 7:30 AM and visited Duty Officer Lord Matsudaira Izunokami as a guest to express gratitude for having completed my return audience and received imperial acknowledgment. I went to his private quarters and conveyed my message through his attendants, then returned home immediately. Past 6:30 PM.
1. This evening, from Lord Matsudaira Izunokami, the temporary adoption petition that I had previously submitted during my absence was returned via messenger, so I responded directly immediately.
"The temporary adoption petition that was submitted when you departed for Nikko is hereby returned. That is all.
