紀伊守殿と一同に有り難き旨の御礼を申し上げ、右の御書付を直に紀伊守殿が懐中して退座した。
但し、右の御書付は自分に戻されたので、中の間で留守居の者に相渡した。
一、右が終わって、永井信濃守殿の名代本庄近江守殿、丹羽式部少輔、米倉丹後守殿の三人が出席し、日光十七日の御祭礼奉行並びにその代理を仰せ付けられた。
一、年寄衆が列座して伊豆守殿が渡した御書付一通は左の通り

右の御書付の写し一通を相渡され、もっとも同席中にも自分から通達すべき旨を申し聞かされた。
壱之一
申十月七日備中守殿

日光より帰参の節、道中急いだために月番老中宅に以前参着したことがあったが、向後急ぐには及ばない。十七日の御名代・御祭礼奉行は十九日中まで、二十日の御名代は二十三日中まで月番まで参るべきこと。
右の通り、御名代・御祭礼奉行を仰せ付けられた節に達するべきこと。
右の写しは代理の松平紀伊守殿にも差し遣わした。
一、御礼のため西丸に登城し、雁の間にて御奏者番鳥羽丹波守に謁見した。
一、年寄衆・若年寄衆に御礼のため回った。もっとも玄関で申し置いた。
但し、先年は腹中（忌中）の老中・若年寄には回礼しなかったということだが、近年御奉書にも清めの義を申してこないので、腹穢れのまま参着

Both Lord Kii-no-kami and I expressed our gratitude for this honor, and Lord Kii-no-kami immediately placed the official document in his breast and we withdrew.
However, since the document was returned to me, I handed it to my deputy in the middle room.
1. After this concluded, three people took their seats: Lord Honjō Ōmi-no-kami (representing Lord Nagai Shinano-no-kami), Niwa Shikibu-shōyū, and Lord Yonekura Tango-no-kami, and were appointed as festival magistrates and their deputies for the Nikkō festival on the 17th.
1. With the rōjū seated in rows, one official document handed over by Lord Izu-no-kami was as follows:

A copy of this official document was handed over, and I was told that I should also inform those present at the same meeting.

When returning from Nikkō, there have been instances of arriving early at the monthly duty rōjū's residence due to hurrying on the road, but there is no need to hurry in the future. Representatives and festival magistrates for the 17th should report to the monthly duty official by the 19th, and representatives for the 20th should report by the 23rd.
As stated above, this should be communicated when appointed as representative or festival magistrate.
A copy of the above was also sent to deputy Matsudaira Kii-no-kami.
1. For expressing gratitude, I attended Nishinomaru castle and had an audience with Sōshaban Toba Tamba-no-kami in the Kari-no-ma.
1. I made courtesy visits to the rōjū and wakadoshiyori to express gratitude, properly announcing myself at their entrance halls.
However, in previous years, courtesy visits were not made to rōjū and wakadoshiyori who were in mourning, but in recent years no mention of purification has been made in official letters, so [I] attended while still in ritual impurity
