一、今日は対客日のところ、公家衆の御返答があったので対客は無し。
六日
一、変わったことは無し。
七日
一、六時前二刻で出宅。御用番松平伊豆守殿に日光二十日の御名代を仰せ付けられた御礼のため対客に参上した。《服装：服紗袷、麻上下》
一、例の通り対客の間の廊下で控えていると、程なく伊豆守殿が出席されたので参上し、日光二十日の御名代を仰せ付けられた御礼を申し上げ、左の伺書を進達した。もっとも上包は取り去り懐中し、伺書のみ差し出した。伊豆守殿が受け取り置かれた旨を申されて退座。それより中勝手に参り、付き込んで挨拶をし、安否も申し述べた。
一、差し出した伺書は左の通り
今度日光において二十日の御名代の拝礼を勤める節、先例の通り大紋を着用すべきでしょうか。
一、御名代を勤めた以後、御宮・御霊屋を自分で拝礼したく存じ奉ります。

1. Left home at two刻 before the sixth hour. Went to pay respects to duty officer Matsudaira Izu-no-kami regarding my appointment as Nikkō representative for the 20th. 《Attire: fukusa awase, hemp kamishimo》
1. As usual, I waited in the corridor of the audience chamber, and soon Lord Izu-no-kami appeared, so I went forward and expressed my gratitude for being appointed as Nikkō representative for the 20th, and submitted the following inquiry document. I removed the outer wrapping and kept it with me, presenting only the inquiry document itself. Lord Izu-no-kami said he would receive and keep it, then I withdrew. From there I went to the inner quarters, made my greetings to the attendants, and also inquired about everyone's well-being.
