一享保十六亥十二月四日御城代狛市右衛門屋敷之内土蔵焼失於江戸御老中
へ御届有之
但御目付之差出候覚書付ハ市右衛門家来設楽儀右衛門ゟ差出之
一享保十六亥十二月四日狛市右衛門屋敷之内土蔵出火御目付月番栃屋半右衛門相達候ハ市右衛門火本先【洗か？】と相鎮候故立合火消共不残御門為引払御目付同役共七ツ蔵其外御番所火ノ本相廻り惣而怪我人等も無之段相達候
一寛政四子正月十二日三之丸花木九郎左衛門長屋出火
一享和三亥十一月八日鳩御門内松原信太郎本屋出火長屋土蔵ハ残り申候此節御用
番之御老中へ御届左之通
拙者城向三之丸外曲輪之内侍屋敷壱軒去ル八日晩致焼失候類焼等無之
御座候早速相鎮申候少分之儀御座候得共城内之儀二付御届申候

一享保十七子五月四日泥原新保浦百四十八軒寺弐ヶ寺焼失同十五日御留守居坂田七右衛門を以御用番へ御届有之
一享保十九刁【寅】四月栗田部村百三軒焼失候得共公辺へ御達ハ無之留有之
右栗田部村百軒余焼失ニ付前々百軒余之焼失二候得共御達被成候事之様及承候段

出火の届出の事
一、曲輪の内で火事があった際は、その様子を言上すべき旨

一、享保十六年亥十二月四日、城代狛市右衛門屋敷内の土蔵が焼失し、江戸の老中へ届出があった
ただし、目付の差し出した覚書は、市右衛門の家来設楽儀右衛門から差し出されたもの
一、享保十六年亥十二月四日、狛市右衛門屋敷内の土蔵出火について、目付月番の栃屋半右衛門が報告したところによると、市右衛門が火元を鎮火させたため、立ち会いの火消したちも残らず門から引き払い、目付同役たちが七つ蔵その他の番所を火の元まわりを見廻り、総じて怪我人等もなかった旨を報告した
一、寛政四年子正月十二日、三の丸花木九郎左衛門長屋出火
一、享和三年亥十一月八日、鳩御門内松原信太郎本屋出火、長屋・土蔵は残った。この際の用番の老中への届出は左の通り
私の城向三の丸外曲輪内の侍屋敷一軒が去る八日晩に焼失いたしました。類焼等はございません。早速鎮火いたしました。少しの事でございますが、城内の事につき届け出申し上げます
十一月二十日 御名
一、在郷の火事でも百軒に及んだ場合は公儀へ言上すべき旨、および町方火事の届出の有無の事
一、享保十七年子五月四日、泥原新保浦百四十八軒、寺二ヶ寺焼失、同十五日に留守居坂田七右衛門を以て用番へ届出があった
一、享保十九年寅四月、栗田部村百三軒焼失したが、公辺への達しはなく留保されている
右栗田部村百軒余焼失につき、以前から百軒余の焼失の場合は達しをなされることと承っている旨を家老中へ申し達したところ、留守居たちも存ずるところがあろうから申し談ずるよう申し聞かされ、すなわち申し談じたところ、坂田七右衛門が申し聞かせたのは、先年三国上新町が焼失した際に達しがあったが、これは所柄の儀でその上百軒

Matter of Fire Incident Reports
1. When there is a fire within the citadel grounds, the circumstances should be reported upward

1. On December 4th, Kyōhō 16 (Year of the Boar), a storehouse within the residence of Castle Deputy Koma Ichiemon was destroyed by fire, and a report was made to the Edo Council of Elders
However, the memorandum submitted by the inspector was submitted by Ichiemon's retainer Shitara Giemon
1. On December 4th, Kyōhō 16 (Year of the Boar), regarding the fire at the storehouse within Koma Ichiemon's residence, Monthly Inspector Tochiwa Hanemon reported that since Ichiemon extinguished the fire at its source, all the firefighters in attendance withdrew through the gates, and the fellow inspectors patrolled around the seven storehouses and other guard posts near the fire source, reporting that there were no injuries overall
1. On January 12th, Kansei 4 (Year of the Rat), fire at the Hanaki Kuzaemon tenement in the Third Citadel
1. On November 8th, Kyōwa 3 (Year of the Boar), fire at Matsubara Shintaro's main house within Hato Gate; the tenements and storehouses remained. The report to the duty elder at this time was as follows:
One samurai residence within my castle-facing Third Citadel outer bailey was destroyed by fire on the evening of the 8th. There was no spreading fire. It was quickly extinguished. Though it is a minor matter, I report it as it concerns castle grounds.

1. On May 4th, Kyōhō 17 (Year of the Rat), 148 houses and two temples in Dorobara Shimbo-ura were destroyed by fire; on the 15th of the same month, a report was made to the duty official through Caretaker Sakata Shichiemon
1. In April, Kyōhō 19 (Year of the Tiger), 103 houses in Kuritabe village were destroyed by fire, but there was no report to the authorities and it was kept on record
Regarding the destruction of over one hundred houses in Kuritabe village, I reported to the Council of Elders that I understood that reports should be made for fires of over one hundred houses as had been done previously. They replied that the caretakers would also have their thoughts on this matter and should consult together. When consultation was made accordingly, Sakata Shichiemon explained that when Mikuni Kamishin-machi suffered fire in previous years, a report was made, but this was due to the nature of the location, and moreover, one hundred houses
