昨日御水主頭へ申し伝えておいた。何れも組用人一人ずつ召し連れて吟味を遂げ相済んだ。また十月五日の出来見分手続きも右同断である。
一、弘化元年辰年二月十三日 狛帯刀方が申し聞いたのは左の通り願い出があるので、宜しく取り扱うようにとのことで、御奉行へ申し達した。

私の屋敷内表手の方の石垣が孕み沈んで大破したため、御普請等をしていただきたく願い奉ります。以上 酒井小隼人 但し外記方は江戸留守のため
一、享保十一年午年五月三日 長浜町の裏石垣御普請の節、御定めの通り根石三通りを公儀が築き、その上は町から石を並べる旨の記録がある。
一、同十八年丑年二月以来 御曲輪石垣御普請御伺い一件について段々記録があり、八月十五日に二の丸東の方水敲きの見分があった。
一、同十九年寅年三月二十四日 真下宗円前の御堀水控え石垣、上之橋横町裏水控え石垣破損所について御家老中が初見分をした。八月六日に御普請御願いが済んだ段を申し来た。
一、元文元年辰年九月二十一日 多賀谷舎人前水敲き石垣の御普請出来見分があった。
一、同三年午年六月九日 波々伯部源太夫前石垣水敲きが大破したため、自分で普請をするはずであったが、大破のため自力では叶い難い段を願い出て、御普請を仰せ付けられた記録がある。
一、寛保元年酉年四月二十四日 上之橋下町家裏石垣を御普請したこと。
一、同年十月二十六日 北之橋横町家裏石垣が崩れ込んだ処、御達しには及ばない所で、前々から下石三通りは上から下されており、上石垣は町人共が自分で普請をし、手に合わない節は相願って上から御普請を仰せ付けられる趣のため、御普請奉行と町奉行が申し談じるよう御家老中が申し聞いた記録がある。翌戌年三月六日、上石の分も自力では叶い難いため相願って、上から御普請を仰せ下された。
一、延享二年丑年六月 御城石垣水敲きその外孕み所御普請を御画図をもって御願い済みの事。同七月五日、右御堀廻り石垣御修復を今年から連々断絶なく御修復をなされるはずの旨を御普請奉行へ申し渡された。右同趣旨で塀等取り繕いの件は御普請奉行共と申し談じるべき旨を御作事奉行へ申し渡された。十一日、右御普請場所書付を御普請奉行へ相渡され、委細は御目付共と申し談じるべき旨。

1. Bunka 1, Year of the Dragon, 2nd month, 13th day: Koma Tachi no Tō reported that a petition as follows had been submitted, requesting proper handling, so this was reported to the magistrate.

The stone wall on the front side of my residence compound has sagged and sunk, suffering major damage, so I humbly request that official construction work be undertaken. Respectfully submitted, Sakai Ko-hayato. Note: The external records officer is absent in Edo.
1. Kyōhō 11, Year of the Horse, 5th month, 3rd day: During the construction of the stone wall behind Nagahama-chō, according to regulations, the shogunate built three layers of foundation stones, and above that the town arranged stones. Records exist.
1. Same 18th year, Year of the Ox, from 2nd month: There are various records regarding the castle stone wall construction inquiry matter. On August 15th, there was an inspection of the water striking area on the eastern side of Ni-no-maru.

Same 19th year, Year of the Tiger, 3rd month, 24th day: The senior councilors conducted an initial inspection of the damaged moat water retention stone wall in front of Mashimo Sōen and the water retention stone wall behind Kaminohashi Yokochō. On August 6th, notification came that the construction petition had been approved.

1. Same year, 10th month, 26th day: Regarding the collapse of the stone wall behind houses on Kitanohashi Yokochō, official notification was not required for this location. As per previous practice, the three lower stone layers were provided from above, while the upper stone walls were to be repaired privately by the townspeople, with official construction ordered when they petitioned due to inability to handle it themselves. The senior councilors ordered that the construction magistrate and town magistrate should consult on this matter. Records exist. On the 6th day of the 3rd month of the following Year of the Dog, since the upper stones also could not be handled privately, a petition was made and official construction was ordered from above.
1. Enkyō 2, Year of the Ox, 6th month: The castle stone wall water striking and other bulging areas were petitioned for construction with drawings, and approval was granted. On July 5th of the same year, orders were given to the construction magistrate that stone wall repairs around the moat should be carried out continuously without interruption from this year. With the same intent, orders were given to the construction magistrate that fence repairs and similar matters should be consulted upon with fellow construction magistrates. On the 11th, a written list of construction sites was delivered to the construction magistrate, with instructions that details should be discussed with the inspectors.
