一文化元子三月十三日御本城橋御修覆ニ付小船壱艘御堀へ入置候旨ニ付入候儀下馬太鼓御門所へ無
滞候様申達舟堀へ入置候儀ハ堀土居奉行并御城代与力詰所へ口上扣を以申達候
一文化二丑年御本城橋御普請此節ゟ石橋ニ相成候事右取扱一件左之通
一五月廿七日御作事奉行共申聞候ハ御本城橋御普請中為御用彼地へ諸色為持運置候ニ付小
厄場〆り申付候仍之明廿八日ゟ往来指留申候中仕切御門へ往来候儀ハ七ツ蔵御門ゟ御
馬場通り御厩中ノ口通り往来申付并右御普請小厄場為口番御長柄之者両人昼
夜相詰候様申付候間太鼓御門無滞様切手指出候ニ付令奥書遣之右七ツ蔵御門往来之
儀口上扣を以御城代与力詰所并太鼓御門中仕切御門へ相達之為心得御番改柳下勘

等致シ二之丸之方〆り宜敷様二之丸預り都筑三郎左衛門へ申談前々之通取扱候様御趣申達之

現代語訳
普請の件は従来通りであれば御届けに及ばない旨、御条目にも橋普請の件は出ていない。右の御聞き合わせの橋普請の件は御勝手次第で仰せ付けられるべし。この段申し上げるべき旨を藤九郎殿が申し聞かせられたという。
但し橋の幅の広狭等によって上がる間数の長短によるような類は新規に似寄るため、御聞き合わせがあるべき様であるという。右は源左衛門が承合して狛帯刀方へ認めて差し出した写しである。
一、元禄十六年未年御本城橋御普請 公儀への御届けは無し
一、享保十三年申年同所御普請、正月二十九日、右御普請は勝手次第取り掛かり春中に出来上がるよう、御作事奉行水野藤兵衛、大崎七太夫へ狛伊勢方が申し渡した節も、右元禄十六年の先例により公儀への御届けは無し
一、寛保二年戌年同所御普請
一、延享元年子年五月同所御修復
一、延享三年寅年同所御修復御普請が出来上がった上で四月十九日御城代御留守居番へ渡り初めがあり、その節御家老中が享保十三年の御取り扱いをする旨を四月十六日御城代へ御家老中が申し聞かせた。
初め御役人共は御本丸へ相詰めた。
一、文化元年子年三月十三日御本城橋御修復に付き小船一艘を御堀へ入れ置く旨に付き、入る件について下馬太鼓御門所へ滞りなきよう申し達し、舟を堀へ入れ置く件は堀土居奉行並びに御城代与力詰所へ口上控えをもって申し達した。
一、文化二年丑年御本城橋御普請、この節より石橋になった。右取扱一件は左の通り
一、五月二十七日御作事奉行共が申し聞いたのは、御本城橋御普請中、御用のため彼地へ諸色を持ち運び置くために小屋場を締め切り申し付ける。よって明二十八日より往来指し留め申す。中仕切御門への往来の件は七ツ蔵御門より御馬場通り御厩中ノ口通り往来申し付け、並びに右御普請小屋場の口番として御長柄の者両人が昼夜相詰めるよう申し付けた間、太鼓御門へ滞りなきよう切手を指し出すに付き奥書を遣わした。右七ツ蔵御門往来の件を口上控えをもって御城代与力詰所並びに太鼓御門中仕切御門へ相達し、心得のため御番改柳下勘七へ手紙をもって申し遣わした。
一、右に付き材木を持ち運ぶ節、木遣り等をするため車で引き入れることもあるだろう間、太鼓御門下馬御門鉄御門へ滞りなきよう申し聞いたに付き、右三御門へ口上控えをもって申し達した。
一、即刻御作事奉行へ御本城橋往来留めに付き北不明御門通用を仰せ付けられるべき件に付き、不明御門前に簀囲い等をして二之丸の方の締まりがよろしきよう二之丸預かり都筑三郎左衛門へ申し談じて前々の通り取り扱うよう御趣を申し達した。
一、二之丸預かり都筑三郎左衛門へ右御普請中不明御門往来になるだろう間、不明御門前御泥場に簀囲い等をして二之丸の方の締まりがよろしきよう御作事奉行と申し談じて前々の通り取り扱うよう相達した。
一、同二十九日杉田権之助が申し聞いたのは、今般御本城橋御普請中、御本丸御台所脇御門番を御留守居組より相勤めるため、御留守居組が不足であるため、奥山里御留守居組相勤め番所を明朔日より御先足軽が相勤めるようにしたい旨を相達したに付き、前々の通り右助番として御先筒組の者を指し出すよう御先物頭月番桑山十右衛門、堀勘左衛門へ相達した。
一、同日同人与力岡田助三郎が申し聞いたのは、今般御本城橋御普請に付き北不明御門通用になる。よって権之助を始め両御留守居共並びに権之助与力が諸事の御用で罷り出る節、中仕切御門へ滞りなきよう、猶また権之助与力同人組御留守居組の者の御本丸御番往来切手御門へ滞りなきよう申し聞いたに付き、これらの趣を御

1. Genroku 16, Year of the Sheep: Main castle bridge construction - No notification to the shogunate
1. Kyōhō 13, Year of the Monkey: Construction at the same location. On the 29th day of the 1st month, orders were given to construction magistrates Mizuno Tōbei and Ōsaki Shichidayū through Koma Ise that construction should begin at their discretion and be completed during spring. Following the precedent of Genroku 16, no notification to the shogunate was made.

1. Bunka 2, Year of the Ox: Main castle bridge construction. From this time it became a stone bridge. The handling of this matter was as follows:

On the 27th day of the 5th month, the construction magistrates reported that during main castle bridge construction, a work site would be cordoned off for transporting various materials for official use. Therefore, traffic would be restricted from the 28th. For access to the middle gate, passage would be via the Nanatsu-kura Gate through the riding ground and stable entrance. Two halberd guards would be stationed day and night at the construction site entrance. Passes were issued to ensure smooth passage through Taiko Gate with endorsement.
