天保ニ巳四月廿五日御留守居牧野主殿屋敷之裏御堀之中ニ有之柵之破損繕并同水門之前之橋修覆之事向後御作事所ゟ可申付旨右跡々之様子不分明候得共今度各僉議之上右之通荒川三郎太夫へ申渡之
御普請ニ付諸事并御修復
一宝永五子年被仰出御曲輪之内損所有之公儀江御伺可成程之事ハ向後御城代
御留守居并御普請奉行共申談見分仕其趣御家老中へ相達筈
但御城代病気之節ハ為名代与力指出筈

但御屋形をはなれ御普請有之所ニハ御徒目付不及指出筈
一御帰国前下馬御門太鼓御門切手御門右三ケ所御門壁致上塗候節御番所ニ有之候張
紙判鑑等為剥取候間御徒目付指出為剥取候様ニ番所ゟ申来候而も此方ゟハ構不申
最前御徒目付指出張渡したる儀故一通り御徒目付差出紛失無之様ニ可致旨申遣筈尤
御徒目付立会剥取ニ而も無之筈
但御座所へハ御徒目付差出世話為致候筈
一御留守年御普請奉行御作事奉行方ゟ元作事之辺見分ニ太鼓御門之方ゟ入御厩小門罷
通度旨申趣候而も不相成事ニ候間切手御門ゟ入被致見分候様可申遣筈
一享保五子年堀新右衛門魲九郎左衛門申聞候ハ山里御土蔵切手御門御鷹部や御門右之
所之御修覆ニ付拙者共破損奉行御大工頭共三ケ所相廻り候ニ付表へ廻り候儀致難
儀候間御厩脇小門切手御門共ニ致往来度由申聞候ニ付申談候処御作事ゟ之材木并御

【右丁 札】御普請銀之部銀
天保2年（1831年）4月25日、御留守居牧野主殿の屋敷の裏にある御堀の中の柵の破損修繕および同じく水門の前の橋の修復について、今後は御作事所から申し付けるべき旨。右の従来の様子は不分明であるが、今度各々協議の上、右の通り荒川三郎太夫へ申し渡した。
御普請に付いての諸事および御修復について
一、宝永5年（1708年）に仰せ出されたこと：御曲輪の内で損傷箇所があれば公儀へ伺いを立てること。なるべくのことは今後御城代、御留守居および御普請奉行共が申し談じて見分を行い、その趣を御家老中へ相達する筈である。
ただし御城代が病気の節は代理として与力を指し出す筈である。
【〇内に×印】後の印を入れるべき
一、御留守年において御座所で御普請がある節は御徒目付を指し出す筈である。
ただし御屋形を離れて御普請がある所には御徒目付を指し出すに及ばない筈である。
一、御帰国前に下馬御門、太鼓御門、切手御門の右3ヶ所の御門壁に上塗りを行う節、御番所にある張り紙や判鑑等を剥ぎ取るため、御徒目付を指し出して剥ぎ取るよう番所から申し来ても、こちらからは構わない。最初に御徒目付を指し出して張り渡した儀であるから、一通り御徒目付を差し出し紛失のないよう致すべき旨を申し遣わす筈である。もっとも御徒目付立会いでの剥ぎ取りではない筈である。
ただし御座所へは御徒目付を差し出して世話をさせる筈である。
一、御留守年に御普請奉行・御作事奉行方から旧作事の辺りを見分するために太鼓御門の方から入り御厩小門を通りたい旨を申す趣があっても、相成らぬことであるから、切手御門から入って見分を致すよう申し遣わす筈である。
一、享保5年（1720年）に堀新右衛門・魲九郎左衛門が申し聞かせたことには、山里御土蔵、切手御門、御鷹部屋御門の右の所の御修復について、拙者共破損奉行、御大工頭共が3ヶ所を回るにつき、表へ回ることは致し難い儀であるから、御厩脇小門・切手御門共に往来したい由を申し聞かせた。これについて申し談じたところ、御作事からの材木および御

Various Matters Concerning Construction and Repairs
1. Issued in Hōei 5 (1708): When there are damaged areas within the castle compound, inquiry should be made to the shogunate authorities. For matters that can reasonably be handled, hereafter the Castle Deputy, Deputy Keeper, and Construction Magistrates shall consult together, conduct inspections, and report their findings to the Senior Councillors.
However, when the Castle Deputy is ill, a deputy yoriki shall be dispatched instead.

1. During years when the lord is absent, when construction work occurs at the lord's quarters, foot soldier inspectors shall be dispatched.
However, for construction work at locations separate from the lord's residence, foot soldier inspectors need not be dispatched.
1. Before the lord's return to the domain, when applying final plaster to the walls of the three gates - Geba Gate, Taiko Gate, and Kitte Gate - even if the guard posts request that foot soldier inspectors be sent to remove posted papers, seals, and other items from the guard stations, we shall not interfere. Since foot soldier inspectors were initially sent to post these items, foot soldier inspectors should generally be dispatched to ensure nothing is lost, and this should be communicated. However, foot soldier inspectors need not be present for the removal.
However, foot soldier inspectors shall be dispatched to attend to matters at the lord's quarters.
1. During the lord's absence, even if the Construction Magistrates and Works Magistrates request to enter through Taiko Gate and pass through the stable's small gate to inspect the vicinity of former construction work, this is not permissible. They should be told to enter through Kitte Gate to conduct their inspection.
