For these official positions, construction silver exemptions are maintained upon return to Edo. When there are repeated position changes, regardless of how many years since retirement, calculations should be made at 7 rin 5 mō per position, with two years each allocated for current and retired positions.
Ordered in Meiwa 4 (1767):
1. When construction and repair work is ordered and inspectors are assigned to oversee duties, they shall not wear formal hakama but shall wear white robes and haori jackets.

- From Meiwa 4 to spring of Meiwa 5 (1768), Ichiyanagi Shinkurō served as duty overseer.
- In the 6th year, Tateiwa Heiemon served.
- In Anei 9 (1780), in preparation for Princess Hisa's birth, from the 11th month of the previous year, Akita Shichibei was appointed as overseer for the reconstruction of the women's quarters enclosure, and two foot soldier inspectors were assigned to patrol that area.
