現代語訳
一、享和二戌年九月、餌刺町の小役人屋敷の水野久太夫が願い出て、俵町のお茶園地と交換していただいた。しかし俵町屋敷は地面が広いため、餌刺町屋敷の坪数より過分な分は受地とされることになり、十月五日に評定所において左の通り仰せ付けられた。
お帳付水野久太夫の拝領屋敷地面替地願いの件、願いの通り仰せ付けられ、今後地名子代は別紙の通り滞りなく勤めるよう仰せ付けられた。その旨、久太夫に申し渡すべき旨をお家老中が申し聞かせた。

1. In the 9th month of Kyōwa 2, year of the dog (1802), minor official Mizuno Kyūdayū of Esashi-chō petitioned for and was granted an exchange of his residence for tea garden land in Tawara-chō. However, since the Tawara-chō residence had a larger ground area, the excess over the area of the Esashi-chō residence was to be treated as received land, and on the 5th day of the 10th month, the following was decreed at the Council Chamber:
Regarding the petition by record-keeper Mizuno Kyūdayū for exchange of his granted residential land, it is granted as petitioned, and hereafter the land rent代 shall be faithfully performed as shown in the separate document. The senior retainers conveyed that this should be communicated to Kyūdayū.
