　早速消留類火も無之候尤少分之儀ニ御座候得共城内之儀御座候故

一同十七子四月廿三日寄合永見多門台所之上薪等上置候二階少々焼出早速消留候へ共右之火先窓ゟ相見へ其上此間之大風ニ屋根破損仕未タ修復
　も不致右様之所ゟ火先相見へ外沙汰へ出火之趣取々申儀ニ候屋根へ移焼申所ニハ無之候へ共御丸之内之儀ニも候へハ不調法至極迷惑仕候依之遠慮相
　付候由仲間富永新左衛門相達候右家ニ焼移申所ニも無之候へハ遠慮ニハ及間敷候乍去此間被仰出儀　御丸之内之儀と申猶又堅ク可申付候間申聞

一、享保十六年亥十二月四日　狛市右衛門屋敷の内、土蔵焼失のところ、御用番松平伊豆守殿へ報告

　右の者の屋敷は福井城内にあるところ、去る四日夜五時頃、軽物土蔵から出火した。
　早速消し止め、類焼もなかった。もっとも少しの儀ではあるが、城内の儀であるゆえ
　届出をする。以上

一、同十七年子四月二十三日　寄合永見多門の台所の上に薪などを上げ置いてある二階が少々焼け出したが、早速消し止めた。しかし右の火の先が窓から見え、その上この間の大風で屋根が破損し、まだ修復もしていない。そのような所から火の先が見えて、外への沙汰で出火の趣がいろいろ言われることになった。屋根へ燃え移った所ではないが、御丸の内の儀でもあるから、不調法この上なく迷惑している。これにより遠慮を申し付けた由、仲間の富永新左衛門が相達した。右の家に燃え移った所でもないから遠慮には及ばない。しかしながら、この間仰せ出された儀で、御丸の内の儀と申し、なお一層堅く申し付けるべきであるから申し聞かせるよう申し渡した。

1. On April 23rd, Kyōhō 17 (Year of the Rat) - The second floor where firewood and other items were stored above the kitchen of yoriai Nagami Tamon caught fire slightly, but was quickly extinguished. However, the flames were visible from the window, and moreover, the roof had been damaged by recent strong winds and had not yet been repaired. With flames visible from such a location, various rumors about the fire spread externally. Although the fire did not spread to the roof, since this matter concerned the inner citadel, it was extremely improper and caused great distress. Consequently, it was reported that a period of restraint was imposed, as communicated by colleague Tominaga Shinzaemon. Since the fire did not spread to other houses, restraint was not necessary. However, regarding recent orders concerning matters within the inner citadel, it was instructed to communicate that such matters should be handled even more strictly.
