現代語訳
一、享保十七年子年七月二十八日、番頭皆川多左衛門が申し聞いたのは、高屋源七の家が大破に及んだため修覆を行うが、長屋を引いて本屋に相用い、跡は塀を掛ける予定であるので承り置くよう申し聞かせた。但し本家を取り払い長屋に住居したいという儀は必ず御達し申すはずである旨、同二十六日の留めがある。
一、同十九年寅年七月十四日、波々伯部八左衛門が申し聞いたのは、同苗九兵衛の家が大破に及んだため建て直しを行う。昼の間は屋敷に居るが、夜に泊まるには八左衛門方へ参る段、則ち口上書を以て御家老中へ御達し申した条、承知した旨申し聞かせた。
一、寛政十年午年五月十八日、斉藤喜五郎が申し聞いたのは、拙者屋敷塀の内に損傷箇所があるところ、右場所は前々より自分普請ではない趣である旨、演説書を差し出し御家老中へ申し上げ置いたところ、御帰城前の差し掛かりの儀につき、この度の儀は上より御修覆を仰せ付けられた。なお追って御調べがあるはずである旨、本多左門方が申し聞かせ、その段を喜五郎へ申し達した。

1. Kyōhō 17, year of the rat (1732), 7th month, 28th day: Guard captain Minagawa Tasaemon reported that Takaya Genshichi's house had suffered major damage and would be repaired by demolishing the long house to use for the main house, with a fence to be erected in its place, requesting acknowledgment. However, it was noted in the record of the 26th day of the same month that any request to demolish the main house and live in the long house must definitely be reported.
1. Same 19th year, year of the tiger (1734), 7th month, 14th day: Hahakabe Hachizaemon reported that his relative Kyūbei's house had suffered major damage and would be rebuilt. During the day he remains at the residence, but for overnight stays he goes to Hachizaemon's place. This was reported to the senior councilors through a written statement, which was acknowledged.
1. Kansei 10, year of the horse (1798), 5th month, 18th day: Saitō Kigorō reported that there was damage within his residence fence, but this location was not subject to private construction according to precedent. He submitted a written explanation to the senior councilors, but since this matter arose just before the lord's return to the castle, repairs would be ordered from above this time. Honda Samon reported that there would be further investigation later, and this was communicated to Kigorō.
