一御家中之面々願之上畳置候土蔵古木を以本家庇聊之立継之儀ハ向後不相成旨乍然一棟も
建継候程之儀ハ其節御評議之上可被仰付候事

一右之通畳置候土蔵古木を以家普請等ニ相成候而ハ御家中土蔵付末々ハ土蔵無之様二相成御締方
不宜候ニ付御評儀之上相極候則今度杉田小平次右様之願差出候処聊之建継ニ土蔵古木を以造作

現代語訳
一、文化六年巳年九月二十五日、左の通り決定した。
一、御家中の面々が願い出の上で畳み置いた土蔵の古材を用いて本家の庇などの小規模な建て継ぎについては、今後認めない旨。ただし一棟全体を建て替える程の工事については、その節に評議の上で仰せ付けられる事。

一、文化八年未年閏二月九日、井原源兵衛の居屋敷内にある二間×三間の土蔵が大破したため取り払い建て替えたい段申し聞いたため、同役共で評議を行い勝手次第である様源兵衛へ申し聞いた事。
一、享和元年酉年五月、橋本春庵の居屋敷が手狭なため二間×二間半の物置土蔵を建て置きたい、不用の節には取り払いたい旨を口上書をもって申し達し、その段を御家老中へ申し達したところ、勝手次第である様申し聞かれ、その段を春庵へ申し達し、並びに屋敷奉行へ前々の通り取り扱う様申し達した。
一、文化元年子年二月二十九日、御鵜方溝口郷右衛門が別紙の通り申し達したため、同役で調べの上、勝手次第である様申し渡すべき旨申し達した。
口上の覚
私の屋敷内に九尺四方の小屋がありますが、手回りが良くないため取り払い、同所に九尺四方の小屋を放屋として建てたく存じます。もっとも近年大水の節に住居する所も無いため、地盛り並びに建物等を高く建てたく存じます。この段よろしく仰せ上げ下さい。以上 二月

一、同年三月二十九日、また郷右衛門が別紙の通り申し達したため、勝手次第である様郷右衛門へ申し達し、序でをもってその段を御家老中へお話しした事。
口上覚
私の屋敷南の方にこれまで角屋がありましたが、この度切り取り放屋にして九尺四方の物置小屋に建てたい旨先達て願い出たところ、願いの通り仰せ付けられ有り難く存じております。しかし右小屋の建設場所で格別に地盛りを行えば屋根等も高くなるため、風吹き等の節に甚だ危険です。九尺四方の塗垂土蔵にすれば屋根等も低くなるでしょう。そうすれば風吹き等の節に格別の障りもないかと職方の者が申し聞きました。元来水付き所でもありますので、地盛り等を行う分には出水の節のためにもなります。つきましては又々願い上げる儀恐れ入りますが、何卒御慈悲の上、右塗垂土蔵への仕替えの儀、願いの通り仰せ付け下さい様お願い申し上げます。これ等の趣、幾重にもよろしくお聞き済み下さい様仰せ上げ下さい。以上

一、天保五年午年二月十一日、高田波門が先年畳み置いた二間×三間の土蔵を少々切り縮めて建て直したいと申し達した。右は二尺ほど切り縮める事故、評議の上前々の通り取り扱った。月番大関新五左衛門。
一、同六年未年二月二十七日、酒井与三左衛門方が申し聞いたのは、与力依田郁太郎の屋敷に土蔵を建てたい願いを屋代藤次右衛門・磯谷藤九郎名宛てで口上書を差し出したため、願いの通り申し渡した旨申し聞き、右口上書を屋敷奉行へ申し達した。同十一年子年、同人方与力高橋太郎左衛門の願いも右同断。
一、天保十四年卯年正月、御城代与力小嶋郷左衛門が土蔵を建てた節、御城代より月番山本源左衛門名宛てで届けの口上書を出し、取り扱いは例々の通り。

1. Regarding minor extensions such as eaves to main houses using old timber from storehouses that members of the household have applied for and stored away: such work will not be permitted in the future. However, reconstruction of an entire building will be decreed after deliberation at that time.

Bunka 8, year of the sheep (1811), intercalary 2nd month, 9th day: Ihara Genbei reported that a 2 ken × 3 ken storehouse in his residential compound had become severely damaged and he wished to demolish and rebuild it. After deliberation with colleagues, we informed Genbei that it was at his discretion.
1. Kyōwa 1, year of the rooster (1801), 5th month: Hashimoto Shun'an reported through a written statement that his residential compound was cramped and he wished to build a 2 ken × 2.5 ken storage storehouse, which he would demolish when no longer needed. When this was reported to the senior councilors, they said it was at his discretion. This was communicated to Shun'an and also to the estate magistrate to handle it as before.
1. Bunka 1, year of the rat (1804), 2nd month, 29th day: Cormorant official Mizoguchi Kyōemon submitted the separate document below, so after investigation with colleagues, it was communicated that it should be decreed at his discretion.
Memorandum
There is a 9-shaku square hut in my compound, but it is inconvenient, so I wish to demolish it and build a 9-shaku square hut as an auxiliary building in the same location. Moreover, since there is no place to live during recent floods, I wish to build up the ground and construct buildings higher. Please kindly report this matter. 2nd month

However, the above matter was not reported to the estate magistrate.
1. Same year, 3rd month, 29th day: Kyōemon again submitted the separate document below, so we informed Kyōemon that it was at his discretion and took the opportunity to discuss this with the senior councilors.
Memorandum
There has been a corner building on the south side of my compound, but I previously applied to demolish it and make it an auxiliary building as a 9-shaku square storage hut, which was graciously approved as requested. However, if the site for this hut is raised significantly, the roof will become high and very dangerous during windstorms. If I make it a 9-shaku square plastered storehouse, the roof will be lower. Then there should be no particular problems during windstorms, as the craftsmen have advised. Since this is originally a flood-prone area, raising the ground would also help during floods. Therefore, though I am embarrassed to make another request, please mercifully approve the change to a plastered storehouse as requested. Please kindly obtain approval for these matters repeatedly. 3rd month
To Fujita Yogozaemon-sama, Morikawa Kisaku
1. When storehouses are built, reporting that they will be demolished when no longer needed or when residences are changed is a matter of discretion. This is recorded in the estate register of Kansei 4, year of the rat (1792), 4th month, 24th day. However, on Bunpō 1, year of the rat (1818), 2nd month, 3rd day, when Atobe Kazue and Kamisaka Jingorōemon reported storehouse construction, in the follow-up letter to the diagram it was communicated to both men asking whether demolishing the storehouse would be difficult if there was already a storehouse at the destination residence during residence changes. Monthly duty officer Suzuki Jūzaemon. Both men's written statements included that they would demolish [the storehouse] during residence changes or when no longer needed.
1. Bunka 8, year of the sheep, intercalary 2nd month, 1st day: A written application for storehouse construction by retainer Yoshimasu Yasubei of Sakai Yozaemon's group was submitted addressed to Yoshida Genhachirō and Teramoto Shingorōemon, so it was reported to the senior councilors as usual and the written application was sent to the estate magistrate.
1. Tenpō 5, year of the horse (1834), 2nd month, 11th day: Takada Hamon requested to slightly reduce and rebuild a 2 ken × 3 ken storehouse he had stored years ago. Since this involved reducing it by about 2 shaku, after deliberation it was handled as before. Monthly duty officer Ōzeki Shingorōemon.
1. Same 6th year, year of the sheep (1835), 2nd month, 27th day: Sakai Yozaemon's group reported that retainer Yoda Ikutarō had submitted a written application addressed to estate agents Fujijirōemon and Isoya Tōkurō requesting to build a storehouse at his residence. They reported that it was approved as requested, and this written application was communicated to the estate magistrate. In the 11th year, year of the rat, retainer Takahashi Tarōzaemon of the same group made the same request.
1. Tenpō 14, year of the rabbit (1843), 1st month: When castle deputy retainer Kojima Kyōzaemon built a storehouse, the castle deputy submitted a notification document addressed to monthly duty officer Yamamoto Genzaemon, handled as usual.
