一文化三寅三月四日芝田町ゟ出火ニ而常磐橋御屋敷御類焼之旨三月十二日来候留書之
但此節奉書火消出ル然処段々御屋敷危相成候ニ付留守居ゟ御使番へ相
断御人数引取
一享保三戌十月廿一日水野和泉守殿ニ而百石以上之御方へ左之通被仰出 覚
前々も被仰出候通若出火之節屋敷廻り弐三町之間ハ人数差出小火之内ニ消候様ニ可致候居屋敷ニ不限中屋敷下屋敷ニ而も家来数
指置候面々ハ家来差出可申候尤人数小勢之分ハ不苦候条随分早く駆付候様ニ兼々急度可申付候人数差出候ハヽ其場所ニ而
御目付御使番之内へ可申届候自然近所之出火ニ人数差出候事遅滞候ハヽ其子細御目付ゟ承届ニ而可有之候以上

現代語訳
一、文化三年寅三月四日 芝田町から出火して常磐橋御屋敷が類焼した旨、三月十二日に来た留書である。
ただしこの節、奉書火消が出た。しかし段々と御屋敷が危険な状態となったため、留守居から御使番へ相談して御人数を引き取った。
一、享保三年戌十月二十一日 水野和泉守殿において百石以上の御方へ左の通り仰せ出された。 覚
前々も仰せ出されている通り、もし出火の節は屋敷周り二、三町の間は人数を差し出し、小火のうちに消すように致すべきである。居屋敷に限らず中屋敷・下屋敷でも家来数を指し置いている面々は家来を差し出すべきである。もっとも人数小勢の分は構わないが、随分早く駆け付けるように兼々厳重に申し付けるべきである。人数を差し出すならば、その場所で御目付・御使番のうちへ申し届けるべきである。自然近所の出火に人数を差し出すことが遅滞すれば、その子細を御目付から承り届けることがあるだろう。以上

一、同十七年子五月二日 本多内蔵助方の江戸本所屋敷が当年三月二十八日に類焼したため、内蔵助方へ御手当として金子三百両を遣わされた。

1. May 2nd, same 17th year (Year of the Rat) - Since Honda Kura-no-suke's Edo Honjo residence was destroyed by fire on March 28th of this year, 300 ryō in gold was sent to Kura-no-suke as assistance.
