一享保十六亥二月十五日波々伯部八左衛門申聞候ハ御徒頭長谷部小右衛門屋敷ニ厩無之ニ付拙者相番今村伝九郎方へ頼当分馬入置申候由先例も
　有之候儀ニ候得共御役馬之儀ニ候故咄置候由
一同十七子三月十六日林又左衛門岩上梶太夫御役替ニ付梶太夫儀ハ御水主頭被仰付又左衛門屋敷へ替被下又左衛門ハ梶太夫屋敷へ替
　被下候然ル処杉田段七申聞候ハ梶太夫儀去年自分ニ願申上屋敷替之節馬屋無之屋敷へ参り未た馬屋建不申候付御法も有之候得ハ馬
　屋有之趣ハ双方致相対候様其節断置候段申聞其段御家老中へ得御内意屋敷奉行杉田段七へ其通取扱候趣無急度申達候

　廿七日類焼ニ付其儀ニ不致候旨於江戸表梶太夫発足前下山半左衛門へ岡部左膳方へ被申渡候由仍之其段屋敷奉行へ申達候
一同十九寅七月廿一日御城代狛市右衛門へ下馬御門内御用替被下候翌廿二日市右衛門申聞候ハ右御用屋敷只今迄厩無之趣
　此儀ハ上ゟ御建被下候哉手前ゟ可仕事ニ候哉と申聞御家老中へ相達候処以前昇安院様御部や住之後本多縫殿方へ

現代語訳

一、享保十六年亥年二月十五日、波々伯部八左衛門が申し聞いたのは、御徒頭長谷部小右衛門の屋敷に厩がないため、私の相番である今村伝九郎方へ頼んで当分馬を入れ置いているとのこと。先例もある件ではあるが、御役馬の件なので話し置いたとのこと

一、同十七年子年三月十六日、林又左衛門と岩上梶太夫の御役替えにより、梶太夫は御水主頭を仰せ付けられ又左衛門の屋敷へ替えられ、又左衛門は梶太夫の屋敷へ替えられた。そこで杉田段七が申し聞いたのは、梶太夫は去年自分で願い申し上げた屋敷替えの際、馬屋のない屋敷へ参り、まだ馬屋を建てていないため、御法もあれば馬屋のある趣は双方で相対するよう、その節断り置いた段を申し聞いた。その段を御家老中へ内意を得、屋敷奉行杉田段七へその通り取り扱う趣を急度申し達した
　　ただし当正月、両人共に江戸表で御役替えを仰せ付けられた。又左衛門は堀文左衛門の跡の御先物頭を仰せ付けられた

　そこで六月朔日、林文左衛門と岩上梶太夫の屋敷替えにより、又左衛門の屋敷に厩がなく梶太夫方から建て遣わす筈であったが、又左衛門の居屋敷が三月二十七日の類焼により、その件を行わない旨を江戸表で梶太夫出発前に下山半左衛門へ岡部左膳方から申し渡されたとのこと。よってその段を屋敷奉行へ申し達した

一、同十九年寅年七月二十一日、御城代狛市右衛門へ下馬御門内の御用屋敷を下され、翌二十二日市右衛門が申し聞いたのは、右の御用屋敷は只今まで厩がない趣、この件は上から御建て下されるのか、手前から致すべき事なのかと申し聞いた。御家老中へ申し達したところ、以前昇安院様の御部屋住の後、本多縫殿方へ下された節も厩は自分で付けた由、先例もある由により、御上からは付け下されない筈の段を申し聞くべき旨を玄蕃方が申し聞かれ、その段を手紙で市右衛門へ申し遣わした
　　八百里が案ずるに、右の御用屋敷は嘉永の頃の下馬御門から南の方の御用屋敷である

Kyōhō 16, year of the boar (1731), 2nd month, 15th day: Hahakabe Hachizaemon reported that since Ashigaru-gashira Hasebe Koemon's residence had no stable, he had asked his partner on duty, Imamura Denkurō, to temporarily house his horse there. Although there are precedents for this, since it concerns an official horse, he reported it.

1. Same 17th year, year of the rat (1732), 3rd month, 16th day: Due to the position changes of Hayashi Matazaemon and Iwagami Kajidayū, Kajidayū was appointed as Omizunushi-gashira and given Matazaemon's residence, while Matazaemon was given Kajidayū's residence. Sugita Danshichi then reported that when Kajidayū had requested a residence change himself last year, he went to a residence without a stable and had not yet built one, so if there were regulations, both parties should negotiate regarding stables, which he had declined at that time. This matter was discussed with the senior councilors, and estate magistrate Sugita Danshichi was instructed to handle it accordingly with strict orders.
　　However, both men were given position changes at Edo in the 1st month of this year. Matazaemon was appointed to succeed Hori Bunzaemon as Osaki-mono-gashira.

　Then on the 1st day of the 6th month, due to the residence exchange between Hayashi Bunzaemon and Iwagami Kajidayū, while Kajidayū was supposed to build a stable for Matazaemon's residence which lacked one, Matazaemon's residence was damaged by fire on the 27th day of the 3rd month, so this was not carried out. This was conveyed from Okabe Sazen to Shimoyama Hanzaemon at Edo before Kajidayū's departure. Therefore, this matter was reported to the estate magistrate.

1. Same 19th year, year of the tiger (1734), 7th month, 21st day: Castle deputy Koma Ichiemon was granted the official residence within Geba Gate. The next day, the 22nd, Ichiemon reported that this official residence had no stable until now, asking whether it would be built by higher authority or if he should do it himself. When consulted with the senior councilors, it was noted that previously when it was granted to Honda Nuinodono after Shōan-in-sama's retirement, the stable was also built by the recipient himself according to precedent, so it would not be provided by higher authority. Genba conveyed that this should be communicated to him, and this was sent to Ichiemon by letter.
