現代語訳
あって御召替えをなさったが、黒羽二重御紋付御服紗で、御袴はなく、御先立ちは御近習番が務めた。八半時に御座之間へお移りになった。ただし移られる以前に西の方御入側へ、金津奉行・町奉行・御勝手掛り海福瀬左衛門・御奉行・御預所元〆役・御懇意隠居桑山帰重・小宮山常春・長谷部小右衛門が列席し、御目付から御側物頭・御預所・郡奉行まで、東後口御次御床前から連なって列席し、罷り在ったところへお入りになり御着座、時候の御挨拶・御咄等があり、その内に御吸物が出され、御銚子が出され、一遍通り廻ったところで御意（ゆるりと）があり、お引きになった。三つ組の御盃・御肴二種が出され、御酒を頂戴し、御側向頭取が罷り出て御酒を相勧め、御用人の挨拶があった。御通例として御近習番が勤めた。御前からお引きになる節は奥御坊主が相勤めた。しばらくあって再びお入りになり、寛々と御咄があった。二の御間口へお入りになり、御酒をお勧めになり、御意（よろしく召し上がるように）があり、又々お引きになった。一統盃を頂戴し済んで、御茶を持ち出し、御吸物膳と引き替え相済み、御茶碗の程合いにて御用人が残らず引き切ったところで、御側向頭取から申し上げてお入りになった。御着座して一統御礼を申し上げ、下座から退出した。ただし当年は格別御省略中故、御夜食は下されなかった。暮時に済んだ。
一、三月十五日 御礼後、御稽古納めの御式があった。

There was a change of dress, but it was black habutae silk with family crests and formal court dress without hakama, with the guard attendants leading. At 8:30, they moved to the main sitting room. However, before moving, in the west entrance area, the Kanazu magistrate, town magistrate, financial administrator Kaifuku Saemon, magistrates, deputy administrators, intimate retired officials Kuwayama Kijū, Komiyama Tsuneharu, and Hasebe Koemon were seated in rows, and from inspectors to side military heads, deputy administrators, and district magistrates, lined up continuously from the east rear entrance next room in front of the alcove, and when they entered where these officials were waiting and took their seats, there were seasonal greetings and conversations. Meanwhile, soup was served, sake bottles were brought out, and after going around once, words (leisurely) were given and withdrawal occurred. Three sets of sake cups and two types of delicacies were served, sake was received, the chief side attendant appeared and recommended sake, and chamberlains gave greetings. As usual, guard attendants served. When withdrawing from his lordship's presence, inner Buddhist priests served. After a while, entry occurred again with leisurely conversation. Entry to the second room entrance occurred, sake was recommended, words (please partake well) were given, and withdrawal occurred again. Everyone received cups and when finished, tea was brought out, exchanged with soup trays and completed, and at the appropriate time with tea bowls, when all chamberlains had withdrawn completely, the chief side attendant reported and entry occurred. Upon taking seats, everyone expressed gratitude and departed from the lower seats. However, since this year was a time of special economy, evening meals were not provided. It was completed at evening time.
