但し今日より御読書をなされ、丹蔵が出仕した。
一、これまで御側向頭取の明番の者は毎日御用部屋へ出仕するよう仰せ出されていたが、今後は御用がない場合は中三日、中五日、或いは連日でも折々不定に出仕するよう、御側御用人を通じて仰せ出された。

1. On the 21st day of the 5th month, Tanzō was ordered to attend every other day. Sōzaemon was ordered to provide only lectures.

Until now, those on night duty among the chief attendants were ordered to report to the office daily, but henceforth, when there are no official duties, they shall attend irregularly - every fourth day, every sixth day, or even consecutive days as the situation requires - as announced through the chamberlains.
