一、御灸後、北不明通り二の丸御庭へお入りになり、謙五郎様の御方へお入りになった。ただし御用人のお供はなく、御枕槍も出さず、御袴はお召しになった。
一、六月二十二日、御座之間にて伊藤登美三郎が講談大学三綱領を申し上げ、それをお聞きになった。御相伴例の通りあり、引き続き井原明石が講談を済ませ、再び登美三郎が罷り出て御意があり、御側へ罷り出た。

On the 21st day of the 6th month, received first moxa treatment since returning to the castle, with all court physicians in attendance receiving customary gifts, though no fans were bestowed.
After moxa treatment, entered the second bailey garden via Kita-fumyō street and visited Kengorō-sama's quarters, though without administrator escort, no ceremonial spears, but wearing hakama.
On the 22nd day of the 6th month, in the main hall, Itō Tomisaburō gave a lecture on the Three Principles of the Great Learning, which was heard. The usual accompaniment was present, followed by Ihara Akashi's lecture. Tomisaburō appeared again and received instructions, then went to the lord's side.
Craft items: two tobacco pouches, one sweat cloth, one twig folder
One square toothpick holder, one fan
These were bestowed directly with small ceremonial covers, and upon receiving them and returning to seats, instructions were given (expressing appreciation for summer service), with administrators handling the dismissal.

On the 25th day, toured mountain village banner retainers' caretaker residences and storehouse interiors, with Ihara Genbē appearing to report details. Upon return to the palace, instructions were given to Sugiura Yūzō and Genbē (all appreciated for their service).
On the 26th day of the 6th month, in the great hall, the first sword collection box was aired and inspected, with attendance at the carp sliding doors.
27th day:

One box of dried squid - arrival from Nishi Honganji temple, provided by the secretaries' office
