一、七月十三日、盆中につき今日より十六日まで御読書御稽古をお休みになり、十七日より何かも行われる予定
一、七月十四日、盆中総御参詣があった。ただし例年の通り運正寺の御先番のみ服穢を御改めし、その余の御供等の御改めはない旨、昨日通達があった
一、盆中十五日まで大奥御仏殿を女中が手張りするにつき、御三度御膳を御表にて召し上がる旨が仰せ出された
一、十五日四半時過ぎ、御間へお移りになり、御用番狛木工方、若殿様より御生身魂御祝儀につき御膳を進呈された。御使が相勤め、御手のしを下された。畢んで御傅役代渋谷権左衛門が罷り出て、御同所様御名代として川御猟の御肴を進呈する旨申し上げて済んだ。一、鯉鮒鱸各一 右は御先例の通り御吸物に相成り、大奥へ下されたもの
一、七月十六日（この鯉一喉も出来申さない旨、七時頃一柳新九郎組小頭が罷り出て相達したところ、九半時頃に至り大鮒二枚が出来たとのことで差し出したが、御用に相成らず、元御座所御泉水へ御放しに相成った）活鯉御用の旨が仰せ出され、御水主頭へ申し遣わし、両組手分けしてお網等を入れる予定
一、七月十七日、残暑強く、御間内で御難渋をお感じになったにつき、夕方御座之間へお入りになり、御二度御膳を同御間にて召し上がった。以後毎々このように
一、夜分一順お召しになり、通鑑綱目の御穿鑿をなさった
一、十八日、来る二十三日生鯉一喉御用の旨が仰せ出されたにつき、御水主頭一柳新九郎、林次郎七方へ申し遣わしたところ、二十一日に至り昨夜浅宮川にて二喉を組の者が獲ったとのことで新九郎が相達した。大きい方は今日差し出し、小さい方は御預けに相成った。二十三日御入用の旨この間仰せ付けられたが、その儀に及ばない旨が仰せ出された。右の鯉は二十一日四半時頃差し出され、直に御二度御上りに仰せ付けられ、跡は御側向頂戴を仰せ付けられた

一、七月二十八日五半時揃い、若殿様御誕生日恐悦、於鉄砲之御間、御家老中謁見があった
一、今日御二度の節、中元の御祝儀蓮飯御祝いをなさり、引き続き若殿様より御生見玉御祝儀を進呈された。御膳を召し上がって済み、引き続き御茶御試し、御菓子を召し上がった

Inoko Rokuzaemon completed his ten-day leave and began three days of probationary service from today
On the 13th day of the 7th month, due to the Bon period, reading and practice sessions were suspended from today until the 16th, with activities to resume on the 17th
On the 14th day of the 7th month, general Bon temple visits were conducted. However, as usual, only the advance party to Unshōji temple had their ritual purity examined; no examinations were conducted for other attendants, as announced yesterday
During the Bon period until the 15th, since the women attendants were decorating the Great Interior Buddhist altar, it was announced that the three daily meals would be taken in the formal quarters
On the 15th, after the fourth and half hour, moved to the ceremonial room. Duty officer Koma Mokuyō, on behalf of Young Lord-sama for the living soul celebration, presented a meal. A messenger served and ceremonial gifts were bestowed. Afterward, deputy tutor Shibuya Gonzaemon appeared and announced the presentation of fish from river hunting as representative of the same residence. One each of carp, crucian carp, and sea bass - these were prepared as clear soup according to precedent and sent to the Great Interior
On the 16th day of the 7th month (regarding this carp, around 7 o'clock squad leader Ichiyanagi Shinkurō appeared to report that not even one could be obtained, but around 9:30 it was reported that two large crucian carp were available and presented, though they were not suitable for use and were released into the original residence pond), orders were given for live carp, instructions sent to the fishing master, with both squads to divide the work and deploy nets
On the 17th day of the 7th month, due to intense residual heat causing discomfort in the interior rooms, in the evening moved to the main hall where the second meal was taken in the same room, continuing this practice thereafter
In the evening, summoned for one round and conducted investigations of the Comprehensive Mirror's Outline
On the 18th, orders were given for one live carp needed on the coming 23rd. Instructions were sent to fishing master Ichiyanagi Shinkurō and Hayashi Jirōshichi, but by the 21st it was reported that two carp were caught last night in Asamiya River by squad members. The large one was presented today and the small one held in reserve. Although orders had been given for use on the 23rd, it was announced that this would not be necessary. The carp was presented around 10:30 on the 21st and immediately ordered for the second meal, with the remainder bestowed upon the attendants
On the 21st day of the 7th month:
One pair of fans and one sweat cloth each to fourteen pages and three assistant pages
Same gifts to irregular attendant Kuwayama Jūzō, who appears regularly
These were bestowed personally to each individual based on the lord's consideration, as there was precedent for such gifts, with instructions (appreciation for summer service)

One set of letter paper and inkstone box with plum and hawk maki-e design, previously bestowed
This was presented to Lady Teishōin as a belated year-end gift from last year, brought as a personal gift during her visit

On the night of the 27th day of the 7th month, although retired in the Great Interior, from the first year of Tenpō (1830), after consultation with senior advisors, it was decided that henceforth retirement would be in the formal quarters. The reason this was not recorded in the inner guard logs was that in the previous two years there were scheduling conflicts requiring retirement in the formal quarters, so no special record was kept. From this year, orders were given to ensure no mistakes
On the 28th day of the 7th month at 5:30, in celebration of Young Lord-sama's birthday, senior councilors held an audience in the firearms room
On this day during the second meal, celebrated the mid-year festival with lotus rice, followed by the living soul celebration presented by Young Lord-sama. After finishing the meal, continued with tea tasting and sweets
