一、七月二十九日五半時、御供揃い、御船町波戸より御乗船（新鬼丸）、漆ケ淵へお入りになり漁猟を御覧になった。相済んで同所御船中にて御膳を召し上がり、再び漁猟の御用が相済み、於御船中にて御獲物の魚で御吸物を仰せ付けられ、御酒とともに御用人・御側向頭取・御医師・御小姓等が御前頂戴し、御近習番は御次船にて頂戴して相済んだ。日野川を御登船し、朝宮御波戸場より御上陸なさり、御駕籠乗りにて六半時二寸廻りに御帰殿なさった
御酒 ただし一昨年は酒はなかったが、当年より旧例の通り下された

右は御水主頭支配にて出来たとのことで差し出されたもの。今晩召し上がりになった。ただし御水主の者が獲ったのではなく、中沢七兵衛が獲ったものを申し受けて一柳新九郎が差し出したもの
八日

On the 29th day of the 7th month at 5:30, with attendants assembled, boarded ship (Shin Onimaru) from Ofunemachi harbor and entered Urushi-ga-fuchi for fishing and hunting observation. After completion, took a meal aboard the ship at the same location, and after completing the fishing duties again, aboard the ship ordered clear soup made from the caught fish, and together with sake, the chief retainer, senior attendants, physician, pages and others received portions before the lord. The personal guards received their portions on the secondary ship. Sailed up the Hino River, disembarked at Asamiya harbor, and returned to the castle by palanquin at 6:30.

On the 1st day of the 8th month, received various courtesies, completed through the lowest ranks, had a brief rest. Upon moving again to the great hall, took seat in the firearms room. Chief retainers Amemori Denzaemon and Matsudaira Gentarō, and inspector Sasagawa Tōnai were appointed to military record investigation duties.

Letter from Koto-hime-sama - there has been occasional correspondence recently, and this will continue
On the 3rd day of the 8th month, observed firearms demonstration by Hasegawa Takeuemon's disciples. However, while until the year before last he was seated at the threshold inside the room, from this year, like archery viewing, he was seated on the tatami in the middle of the inner side.
On the 6th day of the 8th month, messenger dispatched. As in the year before last, salted sweetfish were presented to various lords. This was assigned to the cormorant fishing master, prepared at the designated river, though about thirty-five more than the set number were produced.

One live carp
This was produced under the fishing master's supervision and presented. It was consumed this evening. However, it was not caught by fishing personnel but was caught by Nakazawa Shichibee and received through Ichiyanagi Shinkurō who presented it.
8th day:
"Records of Eiheiji High Patriarch's Conduct" presented by Eiheiji temple
This was received by the senior personal attendant, examined, and sent to the accessory department.
Same day: Glass-contained dried sweets presented by Tenryūji temple during today's visit to Sodeno area.
10th day:
Three potted rohdea plants - these were presented by Lady Teishōin as previously promised directly.
12th day:
One hundred pieces of gold for fish expenses from district magistrate of administered territory, Tsuda Yataroku
This was privately presented due to his recent fine appointment.
14th day:
One bunch of grapes presented by Kengorō-sama and sent to the Great Interior.
On the 15th day of the 8th month, the third meal was taken in the formal quarters, with moon-viewing celebration held then. Tonight's moon-viewing followed annual custom. However, while previously both Confucian scholars were summoned for both occasions, this year with Sōzaemon and Tanzō, one each was summoned and assigned poetry composition respectively.

For this occasion, presented to Lady Teishōin and Kengorō-sama, bestowed upon attendants, sent to Great Interior, etc., all according to annual custom.

During this absence, Great Interior ladies appeared to request viewing up to the formal great hall.

Two Ryukyu variety loofah gourds presented by Lady Teishōin as she went out to the Sodeno area pond today.
