召し上がっても差し支えないが、今晩のところ思し召しにより表にて召し上がった。
一、大奥御拝が夜分になったにつき、御拝所を表に設けて御拝を行われた。
一、九月十八日、安波賀へ御参詣を行われたところ、風雨にて相当な出水があり、御帰殿の御道筋に水があって御差支えになったにつき、差し掛かった安原村の二右衛門方で急遽御小休みを行われ、その内に準備を整えて稲津渡の舟を回し、御水主方からも御道筋へ御舟を回して、差支えなく御帰殿を行われた。夕方六時（御供揃い五時、御出殿五時半）
一、九月十九日、御打毬を行われ、御役人残らず拝見を仰せ付けられた。御前で行われる節は御馬見所下の押し巻きにて拝見し、御次の打毬は御馬見所上にて拝見して御意（時候について）を賜った。ただし先年は御菓子を下されたが、当年は下されなかった。前日、御側向頭取より町奉行海福瀬左衛門へ一通ずつ、御奉行連名、御広式御用人連名、御預所元締役・同郡奉行連名、御目付連名、御側物頭連名、御札所目付一人、御供頭連名にて申し通した。事が相済んだ上で、一統が御右筆部屋へ御礼を申し上げたとのこと。
一、九月二十日、新右衛門の息子新太郎の入湯願いの通り今朝仰せ付けられ、前後の御目付へ相届けするよう仰せ渡された。ただしその御目付への届け出の儀について、定座番外以上は手紙にて相済み、番外以下は証文を差し出すこと。

The Great Interior prayers extended into the night, so the prayer location was set up in the formal area where prayers were conducted.
On the 18th day of the 9th month, when making pilgrimage to Awaga, there was wind and rain with considerable flooding, and water on the return route to the castle caused hindrance, so an emergency rest was taken at Niuemon's place in Yasuhara village. Meanwhile, arrangements were made to send around boats at Inazu crossing, and boats were also sent around to the route from the boat master's office, allowing safe return to the castle at 6 o'clock in the evening (retinue assembly at 5 o'clock, castle departure at 5:30).
On the 19th day of the 9th month, polo was played and all officials were granted viewing permission. When performed before his lordship, viewing was from the lower rolled-up area of the horse viewing stand, and for subsequent polo, viewing was from above the horse viewing stand, receiving gracious words (about the season). However, while sweets were bestowed in previous years, they were not bestowed this year. The day before, from the senior attendant one letter each was sent to town magistrate Kaifuku Saemon, joint magistrates, formal ceremony chief retainers, deputy office chief clerks and county magistrates, inspectors, personal military commanders, one checkpoint inspector, and escort commanders. After the matter was completed, all paid respects at the secretaries' office.
On the 20th day of the 9th month, Shin'emon's son Shintaro's hot spring bathing request was granted this morning as requested, and orders were given to report to the inspectors before and after. However, regarding reports to inspectors, those of fixed seat rank and above could complete this by letter, while those below required submitting written certificates.
One bamboo charcoal basket - presented by flower master Saibei, bestowed upon the tea service, ordered to be used occasionally during tea ceremonies.
On the 22nd day of the 9th month, pine mushrooms were successively sent from the lord's mountain, so they were handled as bestowals according to annual custom, with details recorded by the meal supervisors.
