一、六月二十五日、狛杢方所持の面類並びに頭類を御覧になる。一昨日の通り水嶋藤兵衛が
付き添い参上した。都合百八十三点
一、六月二十八日、暑中御尋ねの宿継ぎ御奉書が、この程酉の刻（午後六時）板取まで到着した旨、暁七半時（午前五時）頃
注進があり、六時過ぎ水落宿、六半時頃浅水宿から注進があり、五時頃石場問
屋へ到着した注進があった。諸向相除かれた段、御用人中から申し上げがあり、染御帷子御上下にお召し替え
になり、問屋方へ案内があった。御本丸へ到着の節、鉄炮の間中程まで御出迎えになり御中座
された
御先へお立ちになり、御座の間へ御着座された。御奉書月番御用人大道寺孫九郎が
開封、秋田運之助が付き添い御戴きになり、相済み御熨斗を出し、御家老中恐悦申し上げがあった
御手のしを下賜される御意《割書：御奉書拝見｜いたし候様》永見主殿、大宮藤馬をはじめ御用人残らず恐悦
申し上げ、詰合御側向頭取前波他之助、御小姓頭取平、御小姓一同参上し恐悦申し上げ、御用人御取り合い
御小座敷へ入られた。右相済み、御家老中をはじめ御役人まで御奉書拝見を仰せ付けられた。右御式中
御座の間御入側へ御刀をはじめ御側向頭取、御小姓が並び居て帯剣した。ただし鉄炮の間から入られ御
跡から参った節、御座の間西御入側、御杉戸御障子付きの方を開け、御入側通り
御後へ着座することとした 一、御用部屋にて右の段申し渡しがあった
一、右御歓びのため揩五郎様が入られ御対面をなさった

右所持の能装束を御内々にて御取り寄せ御覧になったにつき、御側御用人が取り計らいを下された
ただし木工方は江戸留守につき養子熊勝へ下された

Item: June 25th, inspected masks and headpieces owned by Koma Moku. As on the day before yesterday, Mizushima Tōbei accompanied and appeared. Total of 183 pieces
Item: June 28th, regarding the hot weather inquiry relay station official letter, around the hour of the rooster (6 PM) it arrived at Itatori, with notification given around dawn at 7:30 (5 AM). Past 6 o'clock from Mizuochi post station, around 6:30 from Asamizu post station notifications came, around 5 o'clock notification came of arrival at Ishiba inn. The various quarters were cleared away, there was a report from the administrators, [his lordship] changed into dyed summer robes and formal dress, and there was guidance to the inn. Upon arrival at the main castle, [retainers] came out to greet halfway through the gun room and took their middle seats.
[His lordship] proceeded first and took his seat in the main hall. The monthly administrator for official letters, Daidōji Magokurō, opened [the letter], Akita Un'nosuke attended the reception, after completion ceremonial gifts were presented, and the senior retainers expressed their joy.
Ceremonial gifts were bestowed with instructions《Note: Regarding the official letter reading｜to be done》Nagami Tonomo, Ōmiya Tōma and all other administrators without exception expressed joy, the assembled chief attendant Maenami Tanosuke, head page captain Taira, all pages appeared and expressed joy, administrators held meetings and [his lordship] entered the small sitting room. After this was completed, from senior retainers down to all officials were ordered to read the official letter. During this ceremony, in the side entrance to the main hall, swords and chief attendants, pages lined up wearing swords. However, entering from the gun room, when coming from behind, the western side entrance to the main hall, the cedar doors and sliding doors were opened, passing through the side entrance and taking seats behind [his lordship]. Item: At the administrative office, instructions regarding the above were given.
