現代語訳
右は御生身玉（誕生日）の御祝儀として例年の通り差し上げられた。御膳番が取り計らった。
御同所様から 交ぜ御肴 一台 差し上げられた
一、御二度御膳の節、中元に御拝領した蓮飯で御祝いになり、御膳は若殿様から差し上げられた御生身玉の御祝いの御膳を召し上がり、引き続き御茶御試しがあった。
揩五郎様から 葡萄 一籠 お庭の品を差し上げられた
一、七月二十九日、隆芳院様御忌月の御参詣で運正寺御廟拝があった。
御膳御下げ 大宮藤馬へ
右はこの間中不快で引き籠もっていたにつき、思し召しをもって下された。御側向頭取が手紙を添えて遣わした。
一、八月朔日、五時半揃いで御礼を人別に受けられた。今日飛脚が立った。
姫君様へ 牧谷たばこ 二箱 御書添えて差し上げられた
一、八月三日、八朔御延期御祝いにつき大奥において御目見が御取り替えであった。御上下でお入りになった。揩五郎様にはお入りにならず、御目見は善四郎が披露した。
一、四時過ぎ、元御座所御矢場へお入りになり、御鉄砲御稽古をなさった。度々。
一、夕方、御矢場にて鉄砲御覧、御側向へ仰せ付けられた。度々。
一、八月四日、飛脚が着いた。
