現代語訳
一、九月十日 飛脚が到着し、左の通りお渡しされた
姫君様から 御硯箱一つ 西丸御登城の節に拝領されたとのこと
一、九月十三日 拝領の段につき代わり合わせ、五時、今晩飛脚が出立
姫君様へ お手紙
お庭の栗 一箱数百個 大奥回りでお渡しした
一、今晩例の通り御月見、中秋に出席しない面々をお召しになった。五時半前に済み、高野惣左衛門へ詩作、妻木敬斎へ和歌を仰せ付けられた。ただし御側御用人から御茶道まで、向座は御小姓頭取と御小姓である。

揩五郎様へ 松茸十本
貞照院様へ 同十一本 をお渡しし、新六四郎右衛門方へ回送する
一、九月十五日 出勤につきお礼の後、御居間において御面会 本多内蔵助

右は大安寺から差し出された分を思し召しによってお下げになり、御右筆部屋へ差し出した
一、九月十六日 八時過ぎに揃って御打毬、本多内蔵助方並びに岡部左膳方（先達て拝見した節、病気引きにつき）拝見を仰せ付けられ、御菓子・御茶をお下げになった。すべて一昨年の通り。ただし左膳方へも同様のお取り扱い。御菓子は内蔵助方へは十五個、左膳方へは十一個お下げになり、委細は御膳番に留め記がある。御側御用人両人とも月番御用人・当番御用人が出席。

Takano Sōzaemon was ordered to compose poetry, Tsumaki Keisai to compose waka. However, from the attendant chamberlain to the tea master, the facing seats were for the page chief and pages.

The above was from what Daianji temple presented, given by his gracious will, and presented to the secretary's quarters
Item: September 16th - After eight o'clock, assembled for kemari ball game, Honda Kuranosuke's household and Okabe Sazen's household (when previously viewed, due to illness withdrawal) were ordered to observe, and sweets and tea were bestowed. Everything as in the year before last. However, Sazen's household received the same treatment. For sweets, Kuranosuke's household received fifteen, Sazen's household received eleven, with details recorded by the meal attendant. Both attendant chamberlains, the monthly duty chamberlain, and duty chamberlain attended.
