一 御側向御医師、来る未年春江戸御供詰めを仰せ付けられた。御小姓の外、御前御礼申し上げ、また奥台子一統も御供詰め今日仰せ付けられた。
一 十一月十五日 一統御礼相済んだ後、例年の通り御茶口切の御式があり、御座の間に御着座。御茶道が罷出勤め、御茶を御前へ差し上げ、直ちに引き入れ、続いて本多内蔵助始め御家老・御側御用人・御留守居が出座。当年御拝領の御鷹・御馬を拝見するよう御意があり、御引取り遊ばされ、拝見相済み、復座され再び入られ、拝見の御礼申し上げ退去。引き続き高知の面々も次第に同様。
一 御二度御膳済み、御引き続き御茶御試し、両御茶・御菓子を召し上がられた。

1. November 15th - After all formal greetings concluded, the annual tea ceremony opening ritual was held as customary, with seating in the formal chamber. Tea masters attended and presented tea before his lordship, then immediately withdrew. Subsequently, Honda Kuranosuke and other senior retainers, chamberlains, and deputy lords took their seats. His lordship expressed desire to inspect the hawks and horses bestowed this year. After withdrawing for inspection and returning to seats upon completion, they offered gratitude for the viewing and departed. High-ranking retainers followed in order with the same procedure.
