直に御家老から御用人まで御礼が相済み、引き続き御手のし（御熨斗）を御小姓が差し出し、御家老中が歳暮の御祝儀を申し上げ、御手のしを下された。御側御用人も同断で御長蚫を引いた。それから表の御礼を人別に相済ませ、御掛鉄砲の間へ御着座された

一 御稽古納めの集合が仰せ出され、御儒者、御師役ともに息子まで一統が孔雀の間二の間に並び居て相揃った段を御用人から申し上げがあり、入られて鳥渡御着座、御稽古納めを仰せ付けられ、有難い旨を御用人が御取り合いし、御意もなく相済んで入られた。今日は御召服で御熨斗目をお召しになった
一 揩五郎様が入られ御対顔、歳暮御祝儀を仰せ上げ、毎度の通り御同道で大奥へ入られた

The above grants were ordered and distributed through Head Falconer Kishi Gorozaemon
1. 27th - Before 7:30, spear practice was held, reading was also performed, and there was a lecture
1. December 28th - Assembled at 5:30, before the formal greetings, [the lord] took his seat in the formal chamber and received year-end messengers from various lords
Immediately, formal greetings were completed from senior councilors to attendants, followed by pages presenting ceremonial gifts (noshi), senior councilors offering year-end congratulations, and ceremonial gifts being bestowed. The chief attendants did likewise with ceremonial sea slugs. Then individual formal greetings at the front were completed, and [the lord] took his seat in the firearms chamber

The above was a courtesy call for entering the temple; the attendant announced it, and when [the lord] entered the small reception room, all attendants appeared and offered year-end congratulations, followed by the chief attendant and all pages offering year-end congratulations, concluded with the attendant's formal response
1. The conclusion of practice sessions was announced, and Confucian scholars and instructors, including their sons, all assembled in rows in the second room of the Peacock Chamber. When the attendant reported their assembly, [the lord] entered and briefly took his seat, formally concluded the practice sessions, the attendant responded with gratitude, there were no [further] words, and it concluded with [the lord's] departure. Today [the lord] wore formal dress with a ceremonial hitatare
