- 6th month, 16th day: At half past five, with attendants assembled, entered the lower river, boarding ship from the boat district. At Urushi-ga-fuchi boat landing, fishing was ordered, and the meal was taken aboard the ship. There were presentations before his lordship and to his attendants, then landing at Asamiya, returning to the palace on foot before six in the evening. However, following precedent for group boat fishing, live fish were taken back to be released in the garden pond, while dead fish were made into soup and presented before his lordship on the boat.
- 6th month, 23rd day: A courier was dispatched with the following items:
One book shelf, one tanzaku poem card box, one butterfly flower vase, two pieces of silk crepe (Kobayashi Matahei acknowledged)
These items were sent to Princess as travel provisions.
Three hundred sheets of half-cut paper in a box, one hundred pieces of gold for fish expenses
These were to be sent to Princess. However, since Yoshida Ittei was returning to Edo this time, they were sent through him. The items were sent via Kobayashi Matahei's place, to be arranged upon Ittei's arrival in the east.
Seven recreational items, one Narumi tie-dyed silk crepe
These were similarly sent to Princess Kan.

25th day
- Buckwheat noodles in eight-sun food box presented by Honda Chikugo's household
These were consumed at the horse viewing area during today's ball game, then taken to the sitting room. The opponents were Minagawa Kunaiu, Mōju Denzaburō, Akita Michinosuke, and advance guard Ōmiya Tōma. These provisions were presented.
- 7th month, 9th day: Upper river cormorant fishing, boarding ship from Matsukawa Aioi bridge upper boat landing. At the meal location in Shihi border village, Shirohei conducted fishing. The catch totaled 301 sweetfish and various fish, with 866 sweetfish remaining, of which 505 were distributed. Various items were presented to 18 people who made offerings, arranged by the meal attendants. 361 fish remained.
10th day
Thirteen ryō of gold to the page head and thirteen current pages
This was given as meal allowance replacement, and henceforth one ryō each should be given at summer and winter festivals. To be distributed through private exchange to the finance officer.

One box of dried confections sent by the same lady on the day of the service
- 7th month, 29th day: At Maenami area cormorant fishing, caught 106 sweetfish and 23 various fish, farmed sweetfish 448, various fish 154
- Tonight a courier departed. Salt-preserved sweetfish from the recent Koshi River fishing were sent as follows:
One barrel of 50 salted sweetfish to Princess; 25 each to four residential lady attendants; 20 each to three personal lady attendants; 30 each to Princess Kan, Princess Fude, Lord Kengoro, Princess Tsutsushimi, Lady Teishoin; 30 to Juhei and Jusen; 20 to Okabe Sazen's household and Nakane Magoemon

Inner falconry preliminary falconer: Tsukaya Genzaemon
Temporary assignment: Tsutsumi Hikosaku, Okumura Yasokichi
Regarding the hunting ground matter: daily inquiries are made and communicated from the inner quarters to the field.
By his lordship's wishes, this was announced to the elder and communicated from the falconry supervisor retainer to Kishi Goroemon's household.
- 10th month, 29th day: Courier arrived with the following:
From Princess: letter and Chinese steamed buns, one layer
From Princess Fude: calendar, toothpick holder, and other gifts
Hunting birds (one grey heron, one small heron) sent to both elders with accompanying letters.
Same day: Assistant to formal ceremony official, assistant for small implements: Makiyama Unpei
Following Makiyama Unpei's position as small implements assistant, monk Wada Harusaemon was appointed to unified rank.
These appointments were ordered.
