一 山亭にお入りになる間に御供揃えを仰せ出され、奥書院へお入りになった所で御供の面々は下がった。清田丹蔵を召し連れ山亭にて詩作を仰せ付けられ、差し上げた詩をすぐに方丈へ下賜された。ただし丹蔵を召し連れた件は御用人より通達があった。御帰殿は暮れ六時過ぎ。今日は御先番小兵衛が相勤め、相願いして宿継・村継の人足と駕籠で出かけた。

一 九月二十日 来る二十五日の御小姓・御近習番の御巡覧の節、御供に行かない面々を思し召しをもって三国見物を仰せ付けられたので、右の趣きを御用人へ相達し、金津奉行へも手紙で申し遣わした。もっとも御用人からも金津奉行へ申し越された由。

一 御鷹の鞢 箏姫様より今度中根孫右衛門が罷り帰るにつき進上された。孫右衛門は今日到着し御目見があった。【ここまで朱書き】
一 九月二十二日 五時に御供揃えにて阿波賀御参詣。御途中御素衣で吉田戸一郎方へお入りになり、程なく御拝を仰せ出された。御召服は御熨斗目半御上下をお召しになり、御駕籠乗りで鳥居下にてお下乗。春日宮・初瀧殿・末社、御辺拝所すべて十二拝の御拝が済んだ。元の所で御駕籠乗りし、戸一郎方へお入りになり御膳を召し上がった。御膳後、御供揃えを仰せ出され、御召服は最初の通り。それより松雲院へ御参詣され、御拝が済み御素衣におなりになり御帰殿となった。御道筋は御往来共に春日口東郷街道である。御帰殿は暮れ六時半。泊御用捨、御先番小兵衛。ただし御供・御先番・御上りに関わる面々は前夜より服穢御改めの事。

One September 22nd At five o'clock with retinue assembled, pilgrimage to Awaga. En route in plain garments, [he] entered Yoshida Toichiro's residence and soon ordered worship. His attire was noshime half-kamishimo, and riding in palanquin, he dismounted below the torii. At Kasuga Shrine, Hatsutaki Hall, subsidiary shrines, and all worship sites totaling twelve worship sites, worship was completed. Boarding the palanquin at the original location, he entered Toichiro's residence and took a meal. After the meal, the retinue was ordered to assemble, with attire as initially. From there he made pilgrimage to Shoun-in, and after worship was completed, changed to plain garments and returned to the palace.
