一、十二月朔日 午前6時に御目覚め、6時半に御供揃いで御案内の上、運正寺へ御参詣された。御経中は御詰めになり、御手続きは昨日の通り、方丈の御目見が相済んで、長御上下のまま玄関から御駕籠に乗られ、坂下から御下乗されて御廟へ御参拝された。直ちに御帰殿、8時前。但し今日は御刻限が早く御法事が相済んだため、御湯の下は召し上がらなかった。
一、明2日6時半に御供揃いで橋上筋へ御放鷹にお入りになる旨、御用人から通達があった。

右は内献上で、長谷部小右衛門の取次で差し上げた。御先例とのこと。

December 1st: Awakened at 6 AM, with full retinue at 6:30, guided to visit Unsho-ji temple. During the sutra recitation, he remained in attendance. The procedures were the same as yesterday. After the audience with the head priest was completed, still wearing long formal dress, he boarded the palanquin from the entrance, dismounted at the bottom of the slope, and paid respects at the mausoleum. He returned directly to the palace before 8 AM. However, today the scheduled time was early and the memorial service finished quickly, so he did not partake of the hot water service.
