一統詰合幷御医師御針医師詰合歳暮之御祝儀御座
之間御小座敷之内御入側へ一列ニ罷出申上之但暮時罷出奉
伺候処御膳後罷出候様被仰付御膳後御座之間ニ被為入候節北御

例等もあったが、御改革の御時節につき、御例に関わらず以後は御有合の品を下されることに決まり、その段を新五兵衛より御匙医師正順始めへ申し伝えた。

右は松平日向守様へ先達ての御返書をされ、宇都宮勘解由が取り計らい、大坂表河合源太夫方へ向けて遣わした旨。
一、十二月二十七日暮時に揃い、御年和寿礼の御祝儀があった。御中老、御用人当番一人、前田彦次郎、本多九太夫、山品八十郎《但し彦は穢れにより引退》、その外は御月見の通りで、諸事変わったことはなく、翌暁七時半過ぎに相済み、明け六時に御寝になられた。
一、十二月二十八日 歳暮御礼より御帰殿の上、御座所において御家老、御中老、御用人、御中老息、その後御側向頭取、御小姓頭取、御小姓が詰め合い、歳暮の御祝儀を申し上げた。

一、二十九日五時半 御供揃えで運正寺威徳院様御霊前、御廟共に御参拝があった。

右の御拝の節、すべて御庭掛かりが取り計らい、右四社御先々へ御庭掛かり加藤権十郎が罷り出た。粕谷清次郎が出勤した。右の御拝の儀は御側向頭取が申し上げた。
一、今日七時より御夜詰引きまで、御側向一統上下着用、御灯り立て、御側向一統詰め合い並びに御医師、御針医師詰め合い、歳暮の御祝儀で御座の間、御小座敷の内、御入側へ一列に罷り出て申し上げた。但し暮時に罷り出て伺い奉った処、御膳後に罷り出るよう仰せ付けられ、御膳後御座の間に入られた節、北御入側頭から御側向頭取、御医師、御針御医師、御小姓頭取、御小姓、御近習番頭取、御近習番まで東御入側へ総一列に罷り出て相揃った上、御側向頭取より歳暮の御祝儀を申し上げますと申し上げたこと。
一、当月小の月故、御側向諸被下を二十七日に下された。

There were previous precedents, but due to the time of reforms, regardless of precedent, it was decided that henceforth available items would be given, and this matter was conveyed by Shingobei to the court physician Shojun and others.
December 24th:

The above was sent as a reply letter to Lord Matsudaira Hyuga-no-kami, arranged by Utsunomiya Kageyu and dispatched to Kawai Gentayu in Osaka.
December 27th: Assembled at evening time for the year-end celebration ceremony. The senior councilors, one chamberlain on duty, Maeda Hikojiro, Honda Kutayu, Yamashina Hachijuro (Note: Hiko withdrew due to defilement), and others proceeded as usual for moon-viewing, with no changes in various matters. It concluded after 7:30 AM the next dawn, and His Lordship retired at 6 AM.
December 28th: After returning from year-end courtesy calls, at the audience chamber, the senior retainers, senior councilors, chamberlains, sons of senior councilors, followed by attendant chiefs, page chiefs, and pages assembled to offer year-end congratulations.

December 29th, 5:30 AM: With full retinue, visited the spirit altar and mausoleum of Unsho-ji Itoku-in-sama.
December 29th, after 7:30 AM: Worship was conducted at the four garden shrines. As follows, leading the way, inner guard duty:
- Main shrine (the principal shrine), Benten, two Inari shrines (combined shrine)
For the above worship, all garden officials managed arrangements. Garden official Kato Gonjuro appeared at the four shrines beforehand. Kasuya Seijiro attended duty. The matter of this worship was reported by the attendant chief.
Today from 7 o'clock until the end of night duty, all attendants wore formal dress, lanterns were lit, all attendants assembled along with court physicians and acupuncturists for year-end congratulations, appearing in a line at the entrance side of the audience chamber and small parlor. However, when they appeared at evening time to make inquiry, they were ordered to appear after the meal. When His Lordship entered the audience chamber after the meal, from the head of the north entrance side - attendant chiefs, court physicians, acupuncture physicians, page chiefs, pages, close attendant group chiefs, and close attendants - all appeared in a single line at the east entrance side. Once assembled, the attendant chief announced that they would offer year-end congratulations.
This month being a short month, various gifts to attendants were given on the 27th:
- 1000 hiki of gold - Kiyota Tanzo
