1. September 4th, clear weather. At 6:30, the retinue assembled and departed after 4 o'clock. Climbed Mount Rennyo at the same location and stopped at the Higashi Hongan-ji outpost.

From Yoshizaki Bay harbor, crossed by boat to Fukura-ga-ike where they briefly landed, set up a camp stool, and observed the seine nets. The first net was at Kitagata Bay, the second at Hamasaka Bay, the third at Kitagata Bay again. Then boarded the boat again, went up to Kitagata Bay harbor, and arrived at the lodging before 7:30.
