一、福良ケ池からお座所へ回送した魚類の多くが生きており、生存分を御泉水へお放しになるよう取り計らった旨、鍋八郎権右衛門より申し来たり、その旨をお聞きに入れた。なお、また上がった分は、

右の通り御用人へ相談し、夜中になっても下されるよう取り計らい、鮒の分は焼き直すよう申し送ったところ、既に鯉の分は煮付けにし、伊勢鯉は塩にして、鮒の分は焼き直した旨、鍋八郎より返書が来た。右の新鮮な鯉を下される件は実現できなかった。

1. Regarding the fish sent from Fukuraga Pond to the lord's quarters, many were still alive, and arrangements were made to release the living ones into the garden pond, as reported by Nabehachirō Gon'emon. This matter was brought to his lordship's attention. Moreover, regarding those that had died:

As arranged above with the chamberlain, even if it became late at night, they were to be bestowed, and word was sent to re-grill the crucian carp. However, a reply came from Nabehachirō stating that the carp had already been simmered, the Ise carp salted, and the crucian carp re-grilled. The matter of bestowing the fresh carp could not be accomplished.
