一廿日 最樹院様御法事於運正寺有之五半時御供揃御案内ニ而御参詣被遊候御のしめ長御上下
同一降真香ノ木二車 雷除之由 内献 御右筆 原田権内
同一雁一羽 御鷹匠 金井平太郎
一真鴨一羽 同 斉川長太郎
右奥御鷹拝借被仰付捉飼ニ付思召を以御内々被下御鷹掛り取計【ここ迄朱書き】
一二月廿一日五半時御供揃ニ而桜之馬場へ被為入御馬見所少シ手
前ニ而御下乗被遊高知之面々江鳥渡御会釈被遊候御馬見所へ御上り
被遊直ニ御馬乗袴ニ御召替被遊夫ゟ御乗馬《割書：七戸
青》被遊相済
御馬見所へ被為入常之御袴被為召御着座被遊此処御馬五
疋御馬方乗馬相済御家老中始之馬始ル此処ニ而高知之
面々始御留守居迄御馬見所へ上ル此節御意《割書：時候

様被仰出順ニ乗出ス此処ニ而御赤飯被召上高知ゟ御留守居御

右、奥御鷹拝借を仰せ付けられ捕獲飼育につき、思し召しをもって御内々に下され、御鷹掛りが取り計らった【ここまで朱書き】
一、二月二十一日、五時半に御供揃えで桜の馬場へ入られ、御馬見所の少し手前で御下乗され、高知の面々へ軽く御会釈された。御馬見所へ上がられ、直ちに御馬乗袴にお召し替えされ、それから御乗馬《割書：七戸青》をされ相済む。
御馬見所へ入られ、通常の御袴をお召しになり御着座された。ここで御馬五疋を御馬方が乗馬し相済み、御家老中を始めとする馬が始まる。ここで高知の面々を始め御留守居まで御馬見所へ上がる。この節に御意《割書：時候の御挨拶》があった。
御使番の乗り込みまで相済んだところで御中入りの御膳を召し上がられ相済み、初めるよう仰せ出され、順に乗り出す。ここで御赤飯を召し上がられ、高知から御留守居・御中老の子息まで御相伴があり、外に御匙・医師一人に御赤飯が出揃ったところで御意《割書：ゆるりと》があった。乗馬が残らず相済み、御供揃えを仰せ出され御帰殿の節、御馬見所前で御中老が御取り合い、御鞍拝見の御礼を申し上げ、御意《割書：滞りなく》があり、御駕にお召しになり御帰殿された。八時二寸五分

一、姫君様・箏姫様への御直接の御返書があるにつき今晩差し立てる継飛脚を、明後二十四日晩に差し立てるよう仰せ出されたにつき、右の段を佐野小太郎へ申し達した。ただしこの継飛脚への御書を進めることは相止め、重ねて本飛脚の節に進める筈
一、二月二十三日、八時揃いで御菩提寺中へ御招きがあり、皆も相揃った段を御用人が申し上げ、上揃いを仰せ出され、鉄砲の御間へ御菩提寺中を御用人が引き、それから再び御用人の申し上げがあり、御紋服御継上下にお召し替えがあり、御座の間・御次・北御入側後口に御菩提寺が一同列座《割書：ただし功徳院は不快で引く》され、御煙草盆が出され、御前・御座の間へ御着座され御挨拶があり、御茶が出され御意《割書：ゆるりと》があり、御小座敷へ入られた。それから御吸物が出され、その節御白衣で再び入られ御会釈があり、御小座敷へ入られた。それから御酒・御肴が出され、それぞれ頂戴したところ、御本丸馬場で御馬方の乗馬を仰せ付けられ見物に罷り□□、衣柄田権之丞が相勤めた。右が相済み、また御座の

1. February 21st, with retinue assembled at 5:30, entered Sakura riding ground. Dismounted a little before the horse viewing pavilion and lightly greeted the Kōchi group. Ascended to the horse viewing pavilion, immediately changed into horse-riding hakama, then rode horse 《side note: Shichinohe Ao》 and finished.
Entered the horse viewing pavilion, put on regular hakama and took seat. Here five horses were ridden by the horse handlers and finished, then horses of senior retainers and others began. Here the Kōchi group and caretakers came up to the horse viewing pavilion. At this time there were words 《side note: seasonal greetings》.
After the messenger's riding was completed, the midday meal was taken and finished, ordered to begin, and they rode out in order. Here red rice was consumed, with companions from Kōchi including caretakers and middle elders' sons, plus one spoon-bearer and physician served red rice. When all was ready, there were words 《side note: at leisure》. All riding was completed without exception, retinue assembly was ordered, and upon returning to the palace, at the horse viewing pavilion the middle elder attended, offered thanks for viewing the saddle, there were words 《side note: without delay》, boarded the palanquin and returned to the palace. 8:25
