現代語訳
謙五郎様へ御暇乞いをされて直ちに御帰殿された。初めて殿様が御座の間へ入られた節、謙五郎様は御縁側に御出迎えをされた。

一、御肴料金百疋 横田作太夫
右は結構であると仰せ付けられたので献上した
一、六月十四日、御講釈で雄之進が出仕し、机で申し上げた。
一、今日は松本天王祭礼につき、神輿・手鉾等が例年の通り渡ったので、元御座所角の御櫓へ入られて御覧になった。その節、謙五郎様も一緒に御覧になった。右の神輿が最初に神明社内へ揃った所で、町奉行から御用人へ連絡があり、その段を御用人から通達があって申し上げ、それから入られた。もっとも御用人へは只今入られる段を申し通し、御枕槍・御草履取が出て、御道筋は御廊下橋から奥山里水車御門通りで直ちに御櫓へ入られた。御先立ちには御裏役勤めの御用人が御供した。但し祭礼渡りの様子の指図は、御櫓へ入られた節に御用人から町担当の者へ申し通しがあった。

一、今度御中臈さとが懐妊したので、安産のため御本丸御宮において粕谷清次郎へ今日廿日から廿二日まで御祈祷を仰せ付け、御札守等を下される筈。右の費用をはじめ諸御入用は先格の通り御内証出方で、委細は御金掛りの方に留記がある。

1. Today being the Matsumoto Tenno festival, the portable shrines and hand-held spears passed as usual, so he entered the corner turret of the former sitting quarters to observe. On that occasion, Kengoro-sama also observed together. When the portable shrines first assembled within Shinmei shrine grounds, the town magistrate contacted the steward, and after the steward's report on this matter, he entered. The steward was notified that he would enter presently, and the ceremonial spear bearer and sandal bearer came out. The route was directly to the turret via the corridor bridge through the inner mountain village waterwheel gate. A steward serving as rear attendant accompanied him. However, instructions regarding the festival procession were communicated from the steward to those in charge of the town when he entered the turret.
